DO NOT USE ALLY MOVING SERVICE COMPANY! ********* Moving company was hired to move my 12,000sq ft home. They hired a third party crating company, Ally Moving Services, to crate my valuables. Both companies are fully insured and were aware of my high value items prior to the move. In September 2023 my items were moved from ********* storage to my new location. All crates were delivered and Ally Moving Services were called to uncrate the items. Upon opening the wooden crate my one-of-a-kind ****** Glass Chandelier had 4 broken arms. **** *******, owner of Ally Moving Services, says that the employees of ********* opened the wooden crate therefore breaking the 4 arms and releasing him of responsibility. The owner of ********* Moving company (*** ******) said that he would report it to his insurance company and they would take care of me. He said that he would work out the details with Ally Moving Services Insurance company. The claim was sent in via email on 9/2023, I was contacted by *********** insurance company on Oct 31 stating that they were not responsible and Ally's insurance company on Nov. 20 stating they were not responsible. I paid ********* in full & Ally Moving services in full for moving my items. Armstrong, nor Ally's insurance company, will take responsibility for the damage of my chandelier. It has now been three months, both parties have been paid in full, and both insurance companies have advised me to contact an attorney to litigate. I should not have to pay attorney fees as I am not responsible for the mishandling of their companies. I am the client and should not be having to chase down these companies to be made right by my valuables that they broke while in their possession.Customer response
