This company has been deceptive to be nice, and lied repeatedly about trying to reach me for the refund. I even had my insurance company call me and them for a conference call and they lied about everything! The original lie was, they couldn’t return it to my credit card. But for five months later, it was miraculously returned to my credit card., The same card that they said they couldn’t return it to in May.Review from Peter K

Their insurance and payment collection is flawed and a scam. I have ****** ********** and Touchstone is listed as a Tier-1 in-network preferred facility which means it is a $1,000 deductible. However, whenever I have my appointment at Touchstone, they keep informing me that I have a $4,000 deductible which is non Tier-1 deductible amount. When I speak with the front desk/scheduler, they tell me that it's what the system is making me pay and the only way they could make this work is if I call ****** **********, get a reference ID and the representative name. When I provided the plan details, reference ID and representative name, they say it's in my file but when I visited them again at the same location, they quoted me with the same deductible amount of $4,000. Apparently, their reasoning is because they need this for every single module (meaning I would need to get reference ID for MRI chest and separate reference ID for MRI of pelvic when the insurance document I provided them clearly states for all radiology images outside of physician office). They also make you pay upfront which means I could've paid $1000-$4000 more than I needed to if I did not call insurance myself to get my insurance verified. It's a complete scam where they make the patients figure out the contract between Touchstone and the insurance companies. They will NOT call the insurance company for you to verify the insurance which is the most irresponsible and immoral thing to do. They will always overcharge you and collect money this way. In process to sue the company for immoral financial billing practices.Review from Dee J

When the tech did my IV catheter she stuck me twice with the same IV catheter without using another one as the first one blew. She told me I would need to hold my breath to which I could have just stayed still. Then she said I didn’t hold my breath long enough which I can’t do bc of asthma and other medical issues so she said the imaging was sufficient. I paid $200 upfront and then made $65 auto payments. I’m still being billed like I haven’t set up auto pay and being set to collections. I am very unhappy with the services at these locations and I have gone to several.Touchstone Medical Imaging Response

I paid $1,952.00 OM March15, 2022 for an MRI out of pocket. A few days before the scan I was called by Touchstone to confirm I was able to pay for the scan on the day of the procedure. I wrote a check for the amount they claimed I owed on the day of the procedure And considered the matter closed. A few weeks later I get a bill in the mail for an additional $167 claiming there was still money to be paid. I called and told them that I paid the exact amount that I was told on the day of the procedure and was unwilling to pay any more. This was not the first time that Touchstone imaging in Keller had done this to me. They have a history of over-billing patience AFTER they collect from the patient on the day of the scan. With all of the new imaging places that have popped up everywhere I would suggest you look elsewhere other than Touchstone imaging in Keller. They have now hired a collection agency to hound me for $167. I asked why I would pay $1952 willingly but try to cheat them out of $167? You will be sorry if you trust them.Review from Lauren K

I would warn everyone to stay away from Touchstone Imaging. Their customer service and billing department are a nightmare to work with. I had two simple ultrasounds that they charged me $840 for( which really should have been counted as one).I would have declined the service if I knew it would be so expensive. They use a call center and would tell me that a supervisor would get back to me in 1-2 days. This never happened. I called multiple times. I then disputed the bill through my insurance. I called to update them about it. When my insurance denied my dispute I paid my bill. Then I get a letter a month later because they turned me over to a collection agency. I called them back. They applied the $840 towards one( each was $420)of the ultrasounds only and did not apply it to the other ultrasound. This is a dishonest, incompetent company. They do not care about their customers at all. They eventually corrected the issue but not before making my life much more difficult. I would give them zero stars if I could. I will never go to another Touchstone facility and I would advise others to do the sameTouchstone Medical Imaging Response

I do not accept this comment as it is generic and takes no ownership of their role. It is a lie that a person can speak to a supervisor so I tried to speak with one for months but never got a call.Review from D'ann W

I had decided to go ahead and schedule an mri for my knee that wasn't an emergency. I wanted to make sure it was completely covered before I set my appointment. Because I had heard they were expensive and didn't have the budget. They assured me it was. When I came in for the appt I triplechecked with the ladies at the front desk and they said "Yes" it was fully covered. Surprise, I now have a bill for $1700.00!!! This is completely wrong and a total scam. I would have never in a million years had the mri if I had known the truth. Do not go there unless it is life or death. They will lie to you and steal your money.Touchstone Medical Imaging Response

I have called the billing department and gone to the Richardson location to try and resolve several times.
The both blamed it on my insurance company, even though they first told me directly two separate times, it was covered in full through insurance.
