My daughter-in-law brought chicken tenders for the grill, as our families were eating together that day 06/02/2023.She had purchased them quickly and did not look at the dates only the look of the product. We readied the grill and when I opened the packages to prepare them for cooking, they smelled terrible, I checked the dates the first one was 11 days out of date, expiration date read may 21, 2023. The second one read May 31, 2023. We immediately checked the dates on the other products she had purchased that day, hamburger buns and coffee *******, they were both in date. This is not the first time I have had issues with this market, but only the meats, I went in last week to purchase ground beef, but I did not purchase any, what they had to choose from was all out of date and very dark in color. I no longer will shop there. The meats they advertise are not as they should be. The market has recently been sold, the gentleman barely speaks English, I listed this complaint as a health issue because in this area, we have a lot of low income, elderly people and I feel that if they are not carefull purchasing, they WILL become Ill from these products.Very Concerned.My daughter-in-law. Did return the chicken and receive a refund. But the issue I have is that this store is in a small neighborhood very convenient, however, not a place I will shop again. I wanted to make you aware of this issue for safety reasons, I have also filed a complaint with the *** regarding this issue. All I want is for the people who shop there to be safe and be able to get decent foods without having to go to the other side of gallatin to a ******* or Aldi.Your help with this matter is greatly appreciatedBusiness response
