The business was to perform a roof replacement and replace some damaged OSB as needed as well as a gutter replacement. While observing the roofing performing repairs one of the roofers walking across the roof had their leg fall through a plank when rolling the under-lament on. Rather than repair these damages they proceed to cover this small hole up. I filed a review on BBB to report this after numerous attempts to have him come out to repair. All these attempted resulted in no call no shows. This business then responded to the review stated all work was properly done. I have sent pictures of the owner stating he will come out and repair asking if I have the broken piece to put it back into the proper spot. The services were done in the summer of 2021. The owner has given different excuses each time on why he did not show up. I just want me roof repaired to whole of which i paid for.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/07/24) */ house is approximately 70 years old. Numerous pine board planks were replaced during this construction. Due to brittle dry wood and knotty pine. He currently has no leaks or problems wIth roofing that we installed. To code he called approximately two months after construction stating that there was a piece of wood missing from the deck and when taking down the Christmas decorations from the attic the saw piece is approximately 1" x 4" that he sent a photo of to me I informed him that the piece was small enough not to cause any issuesHe has continued to call after hours repeatedly and harassing manner we chose not to respond. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/07/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have never called in a repeated harassment manner. The roofer has told me numerous times this was a problem that needed to be fixed. Last contacted the roofer told me he would be out the Friday of after getting the initial posted review on the BBB site. He responded with an excuse of being short staffed and extremely busy during the phone call. He also wanted to confirm I still had the broken pieces to make the repairs complete. This became another no call no show. I have only called during my lunch hours or upon getting off work. I do not call outside of national calling hours.
