I was looking to have some steel bumpers made for my off-road vehicle! I message ***** on *** after he said he can do it. We went over some ideas and what I would like to have down. He then gave me a quote of a couple of thousand dollars. I told him to give me some time to get the extra funds together then I would be more than happy to pay him. A few weeks later he messaged me saying that he had some scrap materials left from another project and I could just pay him for the materials which came to $550! That was back on July 18th,2022. On September 22, 2022, I messaged him for updates and or pictures of the progress. When he couldn't provide any I asked for my money back. After about 2-3 hours of back and forth, asking. I agreed to an 80% refund because ***** said he had begun "working on them" and wanted to get paid for his time. I am more than okay with paying someone for the work they have put in. Now, here we are October 14th,2022, with no contact, and will not respond to any money requests or messages. So buyers beware, this company and ***** will steal your money and give you excuses to just avoid you. And when confronted ***** runs and tucks his tail.

***** ******** listed a vehicle (1970's Bricklin) for sale. My father agreed to purchase the vehicle from ***** on January 29, 2022 and ***** stated he would organize the shipment of the vehicle. On behalf of my father, I sent ***** ******** a $4,999.99 Venmo payment for the vehicle. Four weeks went by and ***** had excuse after excuse for why the vehicle wasn't delivered (e.g., issues with car shipping company, he got COVID, his dad got COVID, etc.). Finally, on February 24, 2022, my father decided to cancel the deal due to non-delivery and we requested the $4,999.99 back. Since February 24, 2022, I have contacted ***** ******** (almost daily) trying to get our money back. Every time ***** ******** would state he would be sending the money back that day or the next day, but then had an excuse every time the money was supposed to be transferred (e.g., busy at work, sick, issues with his bank, issues with Venmo, snowed in, etc.). Although I'm sure every excuse was a lie, we caught him definitively lying multiple times. For example, he sent a picture of several stacks of cash, indicating he has the money to pay us back. However, when I saved the image on my phone and looked at the image details, it became readily apparent that the picture was taken November 27, 2021. He eventually made an $800, $1,000, and then $3000 payment on March 8, March 9, and March 17, respectively. The remaining $200 has still not been returned. Most recently he's stated he had to open a new shop and can't afford to pay the money back without "sell(ing) what I have".

Issue: - 16 March 2022, I electronically sent ***** ******** $3000.00 via ***** "friends and family" down payment for Land Rover parts; 1 truck cab top (painted), 5 new aftermarket wheels still in boxes and 1 Air Conditioning kit all for my Defender. A final balance of $1000 was to be paid by me to ***** when I received the full shipment and inspected everything. - Shipment was supposed to reach me within 2 weeks - never showed up - I maintained a running *** chat of entire communication and on regular messaging of all of our conversations. Phone call conversations are very limited (twice) and non-productive. His phone voice mailbox is full so VMs are impossible to leave. He rarely answers his phone night or day. - Last Status (Fri.,4/30 @ 1245pm) - he texted he would refund my full *** payment ($3k) in "...a day or two." Full refund of $3000.00

We paid for services that the company did not complete. They left town without notifying us with no future plans of completing the job
