      ***** ****** the owner bid my deck replacement project in April and I paid him over ***** for materials. I have not heard back from him since and all phone and media contacts are not working or closed.

      We paid Blue Star over ********* down-payment on the construction of our back porch in Jan 2023. My husband had a stroke on 12 Apr 2023 so I asked them to pause the construction until I knew he was going to be ok and coming home. Multiple phone calls and texts between me and Blue Star have occurred over the last 4 months and I was made promise after promise that they would be starting on our porch. Now their phones don't work and their website is suspended. We can't afford to lose over ******* Right now my husband has not been receiving a paycheck. He is waiting on his disability to be approved. I have requested my money back or them to start construction. Nobody from Blue Star will talk to us. Financially this has hit us hard. I want someone from Blue Star to contact me.

      In October of 2021 my wife and I contracted with Blue Star Construction for two roofs over our patios. The job was started and about mid-way through when ***** asked my wife if she could give him the balance due upfront, he had some excuse for needing the money. Once he was given the money we were told they were having personell trouble. When they finally finished the project I had two leaking roofs. I have no recourse because they already had been paid in full. We have been promised and assured that they would take care of it for two years. Last week I finally gave up on Blue Star hired a roofer to repair the leaks. Cost me ****** to get the roof fixed and Blue Star Construction wouldn't do it. Stay away from these clowns

      I hired Blue Star on June 27, 2023 to rebuild a carport that had been destroyed due to a truck collision. I had to pay ***** ******, the owner, ******* to start work. This represented half of what the insurance company had agreed to pay. I asked him numerous times for a receipt, but he wouldn't give me one. He said the demo was *****, and it was done over 6 weeks ago. Since then, I have spoken to ***** briefly and tried to get a start date for the carport. I never got an answer, and I have not been able to contact anyone associated with the business for almost 4 weeks. I sent him a voice message, a text message, and another voice message to the business phone. All I want is the ***** left from the payment I made. I have some other companies lined up to give me estimates, but I don't have enough money without the **. I don't want to resort to calling the police, but I will if I have to. I have called and texted him every day, numerous times a day, and he will not answer. I need help! Also, I am a 68 year old woman, and this is taking a toll on my health.

      On 06/20/2023 I gave to the representative of Blue Star construction a check number 4175, drawn from Regions bank, ****** because I was told to secure a loan of ******* and they needed a 10% down payment. I tried for two months to contact Blue Star construction to find a start date and ask another construction question. I left emails and voice communication, but never received an answer or a return call. I even drove over to their company business, but never found anyone. After two months of no communication, I telephoned the loan company and cancelled the loan. I was advised the Loan company also sent emails to the company and they were never answered. I also filed a complaint with the Jonesborough, TN sheriff's department and the Johnson city licensing board. Blue Star construction, 148 Lynn road, Johnson City, Tn 423 707 3022. I'm a 82 year old senior citizen who is also a 100% disable Veteran, and I don't want this company taking advantage of other citizens.

      We contracted Blue Star to do siding on our house and build a covered deck. Construction took 3 and a half months which was supposed to take 3 weeks. We had constant issues with Jacob. We have a one year warranty , but cannot get the repairs needed to fix errors in the construction. We would like for the repairs to be completed.

      I went into a contract with Blue Star Construction out of Johnson City, Tn. to install a roof over an exiting deck and screen said deck in all the way around with 1 screen door on the deck and another one going out to a 8x8 deck not screened in. The contract was signed in December of 2022 and was suppose to be starting in March 2023 I understood because weather they couldn’t start on it, when I called they (Jacob Wilson) the owner didn’t return my calls then it was April the May then June then the 26th of June they had supplies delivered to my home and after about 60 calls from me they finally showed up to start the job they worked 3 days then didn’t come back until about the 3rd week of July worked one day and didn’t come back until the 1st of August and it’s still not finished and the job they have done is not right the screen doors are not hung right they have a big gap around the door. Now I understand it has been raining and things like that, but there have been quite a few days it hasn’t rained and by the way there are no shingles on my roof it’s been about 6 weeks on it. I have a pile of trash that they have left that stands about 5 ft. tall and he has told me he will get it 2 different times, he has killed my landscaping with the trash and killed my grass where the supplies have been laying there. The total price was suppose to be 16,899.36 I paid him the first installment of 5,644.39 then the second installment of 6,000.00. Jacob told me for my trouble he would knock off 800.00 which would leave me owing 4,454.97. He is not doing what he said he was going to do, I want the job done and done right

      We contacted Blue Star Contraction, to redo our siding on our house. Jacob came out to the house on June 20 2023 and told us he could do the job for just under 15k. He needed a deposit of 5k to book the job. This was the last time we heard from him, for over a month. We left several messages with him and the company with no call backs. We called to cancel the job on July 21 2023 and to get out deposit back. But he or the Company will not call us back, and to this date we have not gotten our deposit back.

      I can’t get them to come out and finish the job! I am not dried in and have excess building materials piling up in the yard. This is the second crooked contractor I’ve had on this project. Are there no contractors in Tennessee with integrity?

      I hired Blue Star Construction Sept. 2022 to reside my house and paid 1/3 of the estimate, $3962.70 on 9/26/22 (AmEx). They told me they would begin the job in Nov. but I heard nothing from them. I called several times and they would not give me an estimated start date. I finally got a call from the Contractor, Jacob Wilson, in January, and they began work in January. They removed much of my old siding, put up house wrap, and started installing the vinyl siding. Unfortunately, it was the wrong siding. When I saw this, I immediately contacted Jacob Wilson to let him know. He said he would call the warehouse in the morning. He did not and the crew showed up to continue working after I left for work the next day. When I got home, they had put more siding up and I asked them whether the contractor told them that he ordered the wrong siding. He did not. I spoke with the contractor over the phone and he said there wasn't anything he could do about it. I told him that was unacceptable and that he needed to order the correct siding. After arguing with me about it for quite some time, he finally agreed to order the correct siding. He said it would take a month. He then asked for another 1/3 of the estimate and I paid another $3923.00 on my AmEx card on 1/27/23. A month went by and I never heard from the contractor; I contacted him a handful of times with no response. At the end of March, I finally told him that I wanted my money refunded as it was clear he was not going to finish the job. He finally responded and told me that the siding never came in (he didn't order it) and that his previous crew quit and that he was trying to find another crew. He assured me he would finish the job and that it would be finished in April. He contacted me once on 4/6/23 to set up a meeting, but I was out of town for work and was unable to meet. I let him know that and haven't heard from him since. Oh, and they left all the debris in my back yard; still there since January.
