Back in July, our washer flooded the upstairs causing mold and floor/wall damage. Farm bureau gave us mold doctors to use to dry it out and replace the floor and Sheetrock. It’s now been 6 months or so and the only thing they have done is dry out the floor and Sheetrock we had. We can’t get mold doctors or farm bureau to do anything about it as promised as far as getting floor and Sheetrock replaced.

It’s to my understanding that we were waiting on the customer to choose a floor. However that doesn’t negate the fact that our former project manager failed to communicate. We will be in touch with ******* today.

2019 Mold Doctors sold me a service of waterproofing my crawlspace, mold treatment, a dehumidifier, new insulation, sump pump and footer track. They neglected for over a year to get my paperwork, and warranty to me. Their crew was a group of young men that were not professional, and spent a great deal of time smoking. They left the old wet insulation in my front yard for over a week. I made several calls to my contact Stephen King, and referred me to Jeremy which proved to me useless. The company's owner and sales representative like to deny responsibility for anything. They put it on each other. My very expensive dehumidifier was plugged in and appeared to be running. However, it wasn't running properly. Instead it was dumping water back into my foundation. Of course, owner Jeremy claims he had nothing g to do with it. That it was the responsibility of a company called Trusted Waterproofing/Boundary or what is now 58 Foundation. He claims they dissolved their ties with these companies. Jeremy's wife, Ashley also had some involvement with trusted waterproofing. The sump pump they installed has yet to work. The main reason it's not working is because there were pieces of elbows that would help lead water to the sump pump, completely left out! I had to hire a structural engineer to find all of this out! Because I could hear the dehumidifier working, I assumed it was working! To my dismay and bad decision of hiring Mold Doctors, my crawlspace is in worse shape than before I hired Mold Doctors. I have a newly built home that has over $20,000.00 worth of bad decisions in my crawlspace. DO NOT hire this company or recommend them to anyone! Jeremy Akers the owner was no help, and had no remorse for his companies bad performance.

      Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/15) */ Thank you for the review. The claim is partially false with statements about response from Mold Drs being Intermingled with information regarding a waterproofing company. None of the services mentioned above were actually performed by Mold Drs USA. The Dehumidifier that was installed was serviced by our employee Jason. At the time of service the dehumidifier was Frozen. The dehumidifier had been functional at one time but customer mentioned the machines had been moved by someone . That someone did not properly attach the drain pipe. Which lead to the unit freezing up. Our employee (Jason) unplugged the unit, cleaned the interior components, cleared the drain line and reset the unit ( After a few service calls following the thawing out). We have offered to remedy any issues with the remediation of mold from the crawlspace but there were no complaints with the Mold remediation Service. The service was provided in 2018. Because we still sell and install various brands of Dehumidifiers, we offered to service the dehumidifier. Jason mentioned there was a $125 service fee for repairing the dehumidifier. At that time complaints began to come in via phone calls and emails. Unfortunately the waterproofing company she is referring to was dissolved in 2020 at the onset of Covid 19. 58 Foundations should be removed from this complaint. There is no association. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2021/12/02) */ ***Document Attached*** Mold doctors was responsible for taking out and installing new insulation. The drainage hose from the dehumidifier had not been moved! It was set where it was originally placed. Yes, it was frozen and wasn't working when their repair person came out to look at it. It HAD NOT BEEN MOVED. I clearly told Jeremy that another company had come out to look at my crawl space ali g with a structural engineer from Corum Engineering. They told me that it was never set up correctly! It had not been moved because no other company would touch it! Because it was done wrong, the other company told me that they would have to start all over from the job that mold doctors did. I have pictures included of falling insulation, not to mention other photos of vents that their people left out. Then, Jeremy (mold doctors) repaired and closed off my vents with spray foam. It looked liked a child had done the repairs. Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2021/12/02) */ called regarding the dehumidifier. was sent to inspect the dehumidifier. corrected the issue with the dehumidifier. Mold Drs referred a wonderful structural engineer if she had concerns. My suspicion is confirmed regarding the above mentioned " engineer". Is The complaint is that mold drs USA sent someone to service a dehumidifier. Perhaps we shouldn't send anyone to service dehumidifiers? This contains the same complaint about service not performed by Mold Drs. Again the complaints are against a waterproofing company that performed waterproofing not sold or installed by Mold Drs USA.
