i put a sectional on layaway on Sept 2 2022. I have been paying on it for the last year. I went into the store to make a payment before i arranged a pick up for the furniture on Dec 2. The clerk told me that it was discontinued. After that my wife and I looked around the floor and didn't see anything to our liking. I then asked for a refund from the store. The manager (******) to me that there was going to be a 20% restocking fee. They sold the product so there isn't anything to restock. They then told me, "well it's been over a year". The store took my money everytime I came in to make a payment and not once did the call or tell me that my product was gone. If I had of known this earlier in the process I would have stop driving from ******** to make a payment. The only way we found out is when we went in Dec.2 I asked to see it before I had made plans to pick it up. The layaway reciept doesn't have a deadline or pay by this date printed on it. So now i have a house without living room furniture. I have asked more than once to speak with the owner. ****** instructed me to leave an email on the furniture website ******************************** He did not give me the name nor direct contact of the owner. I called today Dec 18 and ****** said that there was nothing he could do to help and still won't get me in contact to their owner. I wanted to resolve this matter.Initial Complaint

In October of 2021, I had bought a bedroom set for $****. The furniture brought to our home was damaged and had to be returned after many weeks of arguing. The new furniture brought to our home was just as badly damaged and immediately started falling apart. Now, in March of 2022, we have since been trying to get a refund and a return on the furniture because it not meeting the quality satisfaction we require from expensive furniture. They have been very hard to talk to and reach, even in the store itself. The manager has never once been there to help us, or reach out to us to help. I finally went through my financing bank to issue an investigation to be refunded. This could take 3 months and we do not have time to wait for our money to be returned. We also can't wait for them to do this because we are moving and need to be rid of this broken furniture.
