*** *.After cancelling service with Terminix in Nov,2023, for interior and exterior work and paying $500.00 to do so, I received an e-mail on Oct 1, 2024, from them thanking me for my payment of $1000.23. While trying to contact Terminix to find out why they thought I owed them money for services never rendered. I contacted my bank, explained my problem and they issued a fraud alert. After several days I contacted the bank for the results of the alert. Was told they could do nothing and I would have to contact Terminix. On Oct 8, 2024, I received another e-mail thanking me for my payment of $90.93. I contacted Terminix and between Oct 2 and Nov. 1, I spoke with 5 customer svc. ***** a total of 7 times. From the git go, I was told the charges were in error and would be refunded. Was told the claim was being sent to their ******************* times. Have not heard a word from ******* of Nov.5,2024.Nov. ******, contacted Terminix customer svc again. Was told that the ********, TX branch manager received the the escalation teams report on Nov. 4th and should be contacting me in about 48 hours. This company is a ****! They charged me over 2K for exclusions services. They were supposed to close any entry points that mouses maybe coming through. However after 2 years we are still having the same issues. They sent techs that does not know what they are doing, they will enter your home with their dirty boots and they broke a vase on the way up. They do not care about the customers once they sign up for ********************. I had numerous no show appointments. We tried to speak with our local manager "****" but he refuses to call us or come over. I reported that we still have the same issues to their call center but nothing has been done. All of the sudden now, they cancelled our services without letting us know. SAVE your money and get someone that will get the job done!Review from LISA C

the absolute worst company in the entire world, they do not care about anyone or anything, they are worthless and should close up asap or get sued, they probably have been sued before. they ow me money for repair of my fence or they need to be real men and fix it themselves, they damaged it!Review from LeeAnn C

This is the worst company I have ever worked with. I have been ghosted multiple times after taking time off of work to be home during the job. I have called them over 15 times, 5 times said a "manager would call me back", and nothing. I will try to dispute with my credit card but probably just need to cut my losses and move on. The worst company to work for they would not pay you. They will steal you pay they will steal your hard work. They will scam you. They will never answer your phone calls. They will never answer you need you call and call and call and then you get no answer, promises promises, and still Nothing Im suing this company I used to work for because they take my money and theyre not giving me my money company. Please stay away. Dont work for them or if you dont want to get paid for your hard work go ahead and work for them or you are lazy and you want just to go to people houses just take a picture and not go in and do the job. I think this branch of Terminix has scammed me. The initial consultant pressured me to pay whole sum upfront.I wanted them to rid our home of groundhogs under it. I paid, but now am sorry.Their service was poor. They trapped only one animal, claiming they had no more traps now, men out sick, etc.Later, I determined the two other young had left the house, so a man did install metal guards around susceptible walls. I never got a contract, but was led to believe I had their service until end of year. Now, I have a different pest problem, but call to company says I didn't ever have a contract, and am not covered for any more service.Don't make my mistake!Terminix Response

After using this company for multiple years and purchasing quarterly products from them we have reached EXTREME disappointment. Products that include spraying the yard and surveying the house to identify any problem areas, which come back with all GREEN checks, indicating no issues.After paying $7,000+ for crawl space encapsulation, the job was not completed as promised, resulting in a mice infestation.We were told that debris would be cleared and insulation removed. However, the insulation was left intact, creating a temperature-controlled environment for the mice to breed. The vapor barrier is thin, was not properly secured to the walls, and fails to cover the entire area. Additionally, the vents were not secured, leaving openings for critters. We've called Terminix multiple times to address these issues, including the poorly secured crawl space door.The dehumidifier installed was also not placed correctly to cover the entire encapsulated area. Now, we are dealing with a mice infestation that has created serious health concerns, as mice can spread diseases like Hantavirus, Salmonella, and Leptospirosis. Their droppings have contaminated pantries and clothes drawers, forcing us to detox the entire house.We had a manager come out and say yes there is an issue with entry points and rather than correcting their mistakes, Terminix wants to charge us for additional services to fix the issues they caused. Mind you, this same day, a quarterly inspect was completed and returned with.... all GREEN CHECKS, to include possible entry points.This has also caused mental and emotional distress. The sight of live and dying mice in our home is deeply upsetting. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this locally and regionally, no one returns our calls, and we've had zero response from corporate, even after sending emails with photos.The lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. Given our experience, I would strongly advise against using Terminix.Terminix Response

The Milwaukee /********. I am in ********* and i reported this to Consumer Affairs or Relations.I am a military veteran and I was charged ******* all that was done was spraying chemicals for bugs. No drilling in the walls or anything. Job should have been a couple hundred dollars at the most but no more than ******. I did a refinance and the company knew I could not get the loan done without the pest services being done and he reminded me of that several times. **** ***** was his name. I am not saying he was a bad guy but he did take advantage of the situation and his office ********** knew it. ******* was the spraying man. These companies do not care by the other reviews on this site. They got their money!!!!Review from Mark F

I hired Terminix to handle an issue with bed bugs. The inspector advised that they would empty the closets and treat the closets I didnt have to do anythingwhen the technician came was told they dont do that so I had to clean out the closets for the follow up visit.. the technician and I arranged for a follow up and set up dates for the two follow up visits. The day of the follow up visit the technician didnt come and didnt respond to my text messages talked to a manager and said he will tell his technician to respond to text messages receivedand he came out the next day to do the first follow up visit which caused me to miss two days of work..we talked at that point about the second follow up and set a date for the second follow up visitthe day came once again the technician didnt show up no response to text messages. Called the Manager left multiple voice messages no response no return call. I paid a large sum of money for their service for a lousy customer service experienceI would not recommend this company to any one and will not be using them again.Review from Antia S

I had a mice problem so I called terminix, they added traps in the attic and other places and promised someone would come back to clean up the dead mice. Not only did nobody come after I texted and called about it ( I had to get rid of them myself) but when I called to cancel the service I was told I was signed up on a termite contract and was stuck paying for a year regardless if they came or not. Unacceptable, the sales *** made it very clear that I could cancel at any point I no longer needed the service and never did o ask for termite services.. I never had a termite issued. I have called and spoken to several ***s explaining the situation and Im being told a manger would call me back. Its going on 2 months now and still no one calls. I ask if enter is an email I can send to corporate, still the same answer, that is was been logged and someone would call within 48 hours. This is clearly a scam and mis***resentation. Horrible experience and they wont stop charging my account.
