      It will not let me leave Zero stars..... TOA Murfreesboro has the worst billing practices. My child had a MRI at TOA on 1/22/24, I paid $454.55. Our insurance company paid TOA 100% on 2/1/24. Today is 10/2/24, after 10 phone calls in the last 9 months I was told today by Bee the Finance Manager the check was mailed on 9/10/24. I said that was 3 weeks ago and I haven't received it. Bee said it takes 4-6 weeks because they send the information to their bank, who processes it. Then the bank send the information back to TOA who mails the checks out. SMH. Then I asked for the mailing address the check will be mailed to, Bee tells me it will be mailed to my old address. Every time we saw the doctor they had our old address from 6 years ago listed on the paper they print for you to give the nurse who takes you back for your appointment. At every visit I would asked the change the address & his pediatrician listed. The pediatrician they had listed retired 7 years ago & we had to find a new pediatrician. The ladies checking you in would say it's fixed but it doesn't matter what it says on that paper because they have it correct in the system. But apparently it does matter or otherwise the check will not be mailed to an old address. I guess my biggest complaint is, "Why am I having to call a doctor asking for a refund when they got paid from my insurance company". That should have been an automatic promote in their system when the same procedure was paid twice a refund should have been processed back to the patient immediately, Not 9 months later and only after the patient called and requested it.

      I had one of worst experiences at Tn Orthopedic Alliance! I filed a complaint in regards to being misdiagnosed by my medical professionals as well as my therapist Michael, and Matt! And just received a letter in my email stating that as a result TOA HAS Decided that it is best that I find another and would no longer be a patient under TOA! Not only that, Chris the person who took my complaint was very disrespectful and argumentative. She totally twisted my words. I will be filing a complaint for this behavior!

      As a new patient, it was never disclosed that we would be billed nearly $500 as a 'new patient fee' for simply being evaluated to determine if we even *need* to *be* a patient. It ended up that we did *not* - but we were charged nearly $500 for the honor of being told we did not need their services. At no point during the paperwork process was this fee mentioned or disclosed. I called to discuss the matter several times and was given the opportunity to leave the office manager a voicemail but she never bothered to call me back. I had a health advocacy company call on my behalf to negotiate the fee and they refused. I started payments on their portal and called the payment center as well as wrote to them via the portal to see how to establish automatic payments but no one got back to me.
