      On June 5th, 2024 I mailed a request for birth certificate with a check for $30 On June 21, 2024 the check was cashed.The service takes according to their website 4-6 weeks. As of Oct 4, 2024 I have not received my birth certificate.Reading reviews from their ****** I see lots of similar experiences.I also cannot get a call back from them.Nobody answers the phone and it goes to voicemail.They provide a critical service to get my name updated and have failed to provide this service.I need my updated birth certificate.

      I had a court ordered paternity birth certificate change that was mailed to them last August, so 2023. They reached out in May and asked me for another part of it, and I sent what they needed, and they told me I would have my new certificate within a month. I have waited for over a year for this, and no one will return my calls or emails.

      I have reached out via email, phone, and left numerous voicemails and no one from Vital Records will respond. I am needing my Birth Certificate for a passport application and the information regarding my mother is incorrect on my current Birth Certificate. They will not reply to support requests and it is impossible to get anyone on the phone there. I see numerous complaints regarding the same thing from other customers. All I am asking for is a status update and to find out if my application is in processing or if I am going to be waiting for YEARS like others. That simply is not okay when dealing with personal information that affects people's ability to work within the Bureaucracy that is our lives. I would just like for someone to reach out and update me on this change in my Birth Certificate.

      My husband and I have just finalized our adoption of our little girl. We sent in for the new birth certificate. They cashed the check and sent a letter saying to check the website for a time frame. Well that says 8 months which is totally ridiculous in itself, but the real problem here is Ive been trying to contact them about what Im supposed to do proof as I cant get a social security card without it and we have had a cruise planned since December and were told by lawyers that it would only take a few weeks to get back. That is 3/4 of a year without proof that she is our daughter. That is absolutely unacceptable

      On May 13, I ordered 2 birth certificate copies. My order form has all the correct information but the certificates came in with wrong maiden name. I have tried calling multiple times, leaving voicemails, and emailing. I have not been able to get through to anyone at the office after a week of attempting

      ******************** contacted our office via phone call on two occasions, June 12 and June 13, then by email on June 18.  One of our representatives responded to her email on June 18 letting her know what she needed to make the requested changes.  She brought the documents to our office on June 27.  Her request will be reviewed and responded to this week.

      I ordered an official copy of my marriage certificate with an apostille from Vital Chek and paid $28.75 on December 13, 2023. The lady on the phone had warned me itll take roughly 4-8 weeks to receive it but I can keep track of the progress online. It is now June of 2024 and I have still not received my marriage certificate nor can I track the progress online. Its almost as if they forgot I ordered something or its a scam altogether. I tried calling but you cannot reach anyone at all. I really need the marriage certificate and I feel scammed out of my money.

      We received the request for a certified copy of marriage certificate in December 2023.  At that time, the marriage had not been registered with this office.  We were able to register the marriage certificate with the information provided by the county clerks office on 6/20/24.  The copy is being issued and will be sent to the Secretary of State's office to have an Apostille Seal attached to the record.

      My daughters father and I paid to have my daughters last name changed to his on 11/3/2022. ***************************** juvenile courts mailed it on 11/18/2022. We have yet to receive an updated birth certificate. I have called our local health department, contacted juvenile courts, made multiple phone calls to ********* and sent multiple emails with no reply . We have no way to find out whats going on. We are nearing the 2 year **** waiting on an updated birth certificate that weve already paid for.

      Tennessee Vital Records received ****************** request on December 1, 2022.  In her request was a copy of a court order, $45.00, and an application which details what should be mailed to complete her request.  She was informed that we needed a certified copy of the court order which was also stated in the instructions on the application.  The court clerk, *******************, stated that he faxed me the order but I never saw it.  A faxed order is not acceptable either.  One of our representatives spoke with ************** and he mailed her a certified copy of the order on April 23, 2024.   The new certificate of birth was processed on May 1, 2024, and two certified copies of the certificate were issued to ************** on May 2, 2024.
