My problem is with D&L wellness in Savannah TN. I've been going there for one year and after constant embarrassment, belittlement and all around bad attitude from Ms. ******* I continued going for reasons I can't explain other than I liked the Dr. On Friday January 7, 2022 I went to my final appointment. Ms. ******* took my payment and scheduled my next appointment for the normal two weeks, but before I could get out of the office she told me she wasn't calling in my prescription and she would refund my $50 co-payment. After leaving I contacted her asking why I was being kicked out of the program and her excuse was I wasn't up to date on my counseling. Which was a lie. My last counseling session was December 7, 2021 with my following counseling session scheduled for January 7, 2022 after my Dr appointment. In all my years and experiences with rehabilitation centers I've never seen anyone be so disrespectful and negative to their patients. I'm filing this complaint because it's the only thing I know to do seeing that what she's done, if not illegal, is just plain WRONG and would like to know if there's anything that can be done about my situation. I understand that working with recovering addicts is not an easy job to have, but the way Ms. ******* **** has treated me and the other patients in that program is morally wrong and actions should be taken to put an end to her overly aggressive tactics that she uses on a daily basis to belittle and embarrass the patients she's suppose to be helping.
