On or about July 27, 2022, the woman who works for Centergas in its office at 6259 East Highway 80, Abilene, TX 79601 called my cell phone and left a voicemail in which she said that Centergas was having a promotion on propane and it was on sale for $2.15 per gallon, its normal price being $2.87 per gallon at that time. I called Centergas back on or about July 28, 2022 and scheduled a delivery. I told her that my tank would hold only about 100 gallons and she said that that number was fine. I figured this amount on a tank fill percentage of 90% because all the previous Centergas drivers had filled my tank to 90% of capacity so I thought this was the norm and that the current driver would do this also. Centergas scheduled a delivery for August 3, 2022 and when the driver ***** arrived he stopped filling the tank at 80%. I was busy on the phone and was not paying enough attention to what was actually occurring, or I would have caught what happened immediately and would have disputed it immediately. I told the driver ***** that all previous Centergas drivers had filled it to 90%, which is why I had calculated that the tank could hold 100 gallons. He said he was stopping at 80% and then called the office. The driver did NOT tell me that any of this meant I then would be subjected to a $50 so-called “delivery fee.” I did not understand until after the fact that I was being charged a "delivery fee." Neither the driver nor the woman in the Centergas office disclosed any such fee. The fee is not printed anywhere on the invoice, which is a very faded carbon copy and hard to read. This fee is not disclosed on the Centergas website. It is not posted on the door of the Centergas office nor is it posted anywhere in the public area of their office. I want my $50 back which Centergas stole and concealed this fact. I am partially disabled and I could not pay my electric bill on time in August because of Centergas and I am on a limited income.Business response

"By rule of the Railroad Commission of Texas no propane tank or cylinder shall be filled over 80%. Centergas deliveries made under the minimum of 100 gallons are subject to a delivery fee and is discussed with the customer at the time the order is placed and is common practice in the propane business."
