My name is ***************** and **********************. My husband and I took our car to the shop Gerber Collision on January 23, 2023, to fix the front bumper grille and the glass. The bill was ********. I paid a deductible of $500, and the rest was paid by my insurance company State Farm. The vehicle was out on February 8, 2023. After 3 weeks after the vehicle was fixed, I notice that the under part of the front bumper was moving something that should not been happening. I went to the office to let them know what was happening with the car. They said that they were going to look into it. They said yes, they were going to ask for a new piece and they have been telling me the same thing for 5 months. When I went back to the office, the manager took care of me because I asked to speak to him. The bumper eventually fall off because it was loose. I went back to the office in regards to that and they said that they can not fix it because it was the cause of an accident. I told them that it was not the case. They were looking for excuses to not do what they were supposed to do in the first place. They said that I had to make another claim to my insurance company for them to even touch the car. I respond that I should not have to make a new claim because they were the ones that did not provide a good service. I have been dealing with them about it calling the office. They have been saying to wait but I can't anymore because I should not be waiting that long for them to take responsibility. I want your help because I did everything on my part to have my vehicle fixed. Now, they want another claim to drain money from my insurance which will result in my paying another 500 dollars in deductible. I hope you all can help.
