I wish I could give negative stars. Beware of this company!We contacted this company to replace a breaker. When we asked for a quote, we were met with some serious resistance. We requested quote numerous times and the only response we could get was that we would be told how much it would be later. I finally called them to get an estimate a few hours before the appointment. The man with whom I spoke told me that they would charge us a service call fee of $79 plus a fee of $175 per hour plus parts. I asked him how much the parts would be to replace the breaker. I was again met with serious resistance to disclosing the price. He told me that we would find out how much the bill would be AFTER the technician arrived. So, we were going to be on the hook to pay them the service call fee plus the hourly fee in order to get an estimate for a simple breaker replacement. IE, we needed to pay them $254 and then they would tell us how much more we were to pay. I told him that we needed a quote prior to any work due to some bad experiences we have had with price gouging in the past.I was met with the most condescending and unacceptable response I've ever encountered. He told me that I have no faith in mankind and that my head was in clouds. He said I was stupid to think that a service tech would price *****. Obviously, immediate red flags went off in my head. Whenever a company rep tells you that you are stupid for wanting an estimate before they complete work and that you have no faith in mankind, it is obvious that they are getting ready to try to take advantage of you. They wanted me to give them an open checkbook for a simple breaker replacement. There is no telling how much they were going to charge us.Don't waste your time or energy contacting this company. They will want you to pay them $250+ just to give you an estimate AND tell you that you are "stupid and your head is in the clouds" for wanting that estimate.Beware of them!
