Date of transaction: 11/27/2022 Paid: 225$Reached out to business that their work needed to be fixed as it was not done correctly. Owner blocked me from communication, got ahold of them upon using different line of communication. Did not offer to fix issue, offered refund. Has not replied to inquires of refund status.Business response

The refund in the amount of $150 has been sent to **** as of 12/7/22 due to lack of availability to fix the light installation issue. Didn't expect extreme windy weather conditions to affect the service we provided. But this complaint has been resolved and I've kept to my word and issued a partial refund as compromise to reach a satisfied solution.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.As a recommendation I suggest the business has better etiquette when dealing with tough situations. Blocking communications and ignoring poor quality jobs and blaming it on unforseen circumstances is no excuse for non response. Cutting corners and ignoring customers is no way to run a business and is set up to fail. I would never reach out to this business again and recommend others to look for alternatives. The owner does accept responsibility of their own actions and deflects all blame on poor workmanship.

-June ********************** welded pieces with specified dimensions to 1/8th of an inch, with square (90) angles. She claimed, via email "But I'll have no problem making it perfectly square," when I asked about that specific point before hiring her, precisely because of its importance to the project her work was meant for.- the work is woefullyinadequate. Its not even close to square, it is entirely unusable.- the business offered to fix it and gave me a two day window toclaim the pieces to which I agreed. They did not show either day, or respond when I asked if they were coming. They offeredanother two day window a week and a half later. They did not show again, and then they stopped responding to all messages entirely. I asked for a refund, and the proprietor stopped responding to all messages. I have attemptedto contact her at her businesses ******** page regarding the matter, she swiftly blocked me. She will not fix this issue on her own.I want a refund.i have supporting documents in the form of text messages with the proprietor as well as the entirety of the email chain covering the expectations and her promises for the final product, I am not uploading them at this time because they contain names and phone numbers of both parties and the terms of use seem to indicate that I can not include that information.Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.This is in regards to a complaint I filed ( BBB Complaint # 17622928). Your office had reached out to them to try to resolve the issue and they were non-responsive, however they have finally reached out to me and resolved the issue, so I would like to remove the original complaint.
