Contractor finished the roof in 2021 (with major issues along the way) and provided a 10-year warranty on any issues (leaks, etc.). The roof developed a leak, and I've contacted them for service on 1/26/23. They told me that they are no longer offering services in OK. The warranty card I have received has their header with their ***** address. Their website still lists OK as one of the locations and their license here is still active. ************************** roof installation was completed in Mid January of 2020. There were punch list items that needed to be completed in order to collect final payment. Upon completion of the punch list items ********************** signed our certificate of completion verifying work was completed and repairs were made to his satisfaction, the customers final balance was then paid. (certificate attached )
At the time of this project Triangle DJ's warranty was a 10yr no leak warranty for any leaks that *** occur due to installation deficiencies as stated on the warranty certificate. The leak was initially reported as a gutter/ soffit leak and unfortunately those items do not carry any type of warranty. There were claims made that our gutter contractor was not paid for this project which we confirmed is false and verified the sub contractor was paid, but still no warranty present as it is not offered. The warranty also does not cover any leaks that *** occur due to storm damages, upon investigation, multiple storm dates are on record for this property well after the installation date. Attached is a screenshot of the property with the storm event dates listed provided by a local ************* storm tracker company. With these many hail events after installation we would consider this roof system as totaled and not under warranty. There is also no record of any maintenance being performed on the roof system. The only warranty currently active for this property would be through the shingle manufacturer which would only cover defects in the product which is not the case. I believe this issue is due to miscommunication as to what the warranty in fact covers. We have already responded to the complaint with the ***************************** in ******** and are still in good standing with the state and servicing any valid warranty claims from our ***** location. There are multiple factors here that void any warranty or responsibility on our end. If there are any additional concerns please don't hesitate to contact me directly. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: this "company" is a joke. totaled roof system and no more warranty because we had some "storms" after they installed it? no record of maintenance? what am i supposed to do? report to them every time it rains? i can't begin to count the hours i had to spend of my own time to get everything fixed up before getting that (now) worthless certificate out of them. their gutter sub told me over the phone that they had not paid him, and i believe him. they also had issues with the electrician and who knows how many other subs. the leak is due to the sub they used for this job, and now i have to find somebody else to fix their deficiencies. i hope my other reviews online will help people avoid this "roofer."

We are sorry to hear you are not satisfied with your experience. We have confirmed all sub contractors have been fully paid for your project. Your response clearly displays either the warranty coverage was either not explained enough or you simply did not understand or forgot. The warranty certificate clearly states it does not cover maintenance items or storm damage that would be covered by insurance. We will not be extorted for free work. I am rejecting this response because: what free work? can you send the documents proving you paid the sub that installed the gutters? he clearly told me he was not paid when i called. why am i even handling the subs you have hired for the job, to begin with?

Triangle DJ Contractors installed a new shingle roof on a Duplex located at ***********************************************, on 6/10/2017, The contract signed at the time by us and the representative of Tiangle DJ stipulated a 10 years Llabor warranty. The roof started to leak on 11/15/2022, we tried to call , email the *** so far with no response.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:My dispute #******* with Triangle DJ Contractors has not been fully resolved yet , as I am still waiting for a verbal promised refund regarding some of the roof repairs expenses incurred by us.
Triangle DJ Contractors did get in touch with me and were immediately able to dispatch a crew of roofers to inspect the roof and make sure there were no further water leaks, they also requested for me to forward them invoices regarding repairs to the roof that we had incurred to stop the roof water leak.
As soon as we get a refund from them , we will ****************.
