October 2024 I entered into a contract with Fast Autoship to ship a car from ************ to ******** for an all inclusive price of $525. Within four or five days, **** the representative for Fast Autoship came back to me and said that he couldnt get the car moved for $525 but the rate would be $950. I told him that the rate of $525 was to be all inclusive and **** informed me that it was not a contract but simply an estimate. Finally, after some heated discussion, I agreed to pay $175 more and Marks boss conceited $75 of their commission to get the car shipped. I had also confirmed with **** that $100 would be paid upfront and that the balance could be paid by credit card upon Delivery at my house. The driver that was chosen for the job did an excellent job. Communicated well with me. Delivery at 6:30 in the morning, which we had agreed to, the driver expressed to me that he could not take a credit card, So after some scrambling, I was able to gather the cash to pay the driver. Fast Autoship is simply a broker Secures independent drivers to do their work And in my estimation did not do a good job of honestly communicating with me all the details involved in the movement. I felt that they lowballed the initial estimate in order to secure the contract, And that it ended up being a sort of bait and switch. I would certainly not use them again. ******* *******
