Was only given 30 days to move out by 09/07 or forced to pay a $600 increase in rent starting 09/01 no amount was discussed regarding rent due before move out for 7 days and the landlord has never provided a amount due! Once I advised of no communication while in the middle of transition of households ***** began to become rude! I believe this is a tactic to keep my $1500 deposit! This company has failed to assist with the upkeep of the house I resided at and I honestly feel like I will be charged for something that was already damaged!

This tenant is on a month-to-month lease and the owner wanted to raise rent or give tenant a 30 day notice to vacate. Tenanted to not want the rent increase, so we sent her a 30 day notice to vacate. The 30-day notice was given on 08/07/2023. Now as long as tenant is still living there, she has to pay rent. So, tenant agreed to move by 09/07/2023 but when we told her she needed to pay for 7 days of rent, she is living there for the first 7 days of September. She does not want to pay that rent. We told her everyday she lives there she has to pay rent but for some reason she feels that she does not have to pay for the first 7 days of September. We told her rent will be prorated for 7 days of September at which she still refused.

I am rejecting this response because: It was NEVER any communication regarding 7 days of rent until 09/05 and now I'm forced to pay late fees because I was never told any amount that needed to be paid for the 7 days! The company has ALWAYS lacked in communication the account wasn't showing any amount needed to be paid online only **** which is the full month of rent! The account wasn't updated until this morning with late fees! I'm NOT PAYING THE RENT WITH THE LATE FEES! I worked with you when I was FORCED to pay $350 for grass for a house I don't own! Per my lease I was only responsible for the upkeep! That's the 7 days of rent

The lease states every day you live at a house you pay rent. No where does it say you can live in a house for free. You can't go anywhere and find a house where you can live for free. The 30-day notice to vacate is exactly that a notice to vacate. No where does that notice express that you can live for free. You paid rent for August, but you have to pay rent for the days you live in the house for September. For example, if the notice stated to vacate on the 25th of September, you really think you were going to live there for 25 days for free!

I am rejecting this response because: Like I said AGAIN! You didn't communicate the amount that was due, then YOU waited until you can start charging late fees to reach out! YOU NEVER MENTIONED ANYTHING DUE! The online portal NEVER mentioned I had a balance due! YOU FAILED TO COMMUNICATE THAT ONCE AGAIN! LIKE I SAID THE ***** STATES IM RESPONSIVE FOR THE UPKEEP OF THE YARD NOT PAY FOR BRAND NEW GRASS THAT I HAD TO PUT DOWN ON MY OWN! I'm not disagreeing that you pay for wherever you stay! MY ISSUE IS YOU FAILED TO COMMUNICATE IT AND ALSO PUT IT WRITING. Then you call yourself trying to be rude because YOU MESSED UP! How was I supposed to know what needed to be paid if you NEVER MENTIONED IT NOT ONCE but you said you did when you know you didn't! WITH EVERYTHING THAT YOU'RE SAYING, WHERE IS IT THE BLACK AND WHITE STATING THAT THEY'RE IS AN AMOUNT OWED FOR THE 7DAYS, THAT I WILL HAVE TO PAY! IT IS NOTHING!
