I went to the Methodist ER in Boerne with strong chest pains. I do not have insurance. I had already previously qualified for financial help through Methodist and that qualification was supposed to last for a year ( I had been approved about 4 months prior). I received a bill for the full amount and a letter saying I did not qualify for aid because I did not submit proof that we needed it but I had submitted proof and had already been approved. I went ahead and applied again after this happened and I never heard back. I just keep receiving notices saying I owe a huge amount. I made a payment today, but if they had honored the previously approved aid, I would have been able to pay off the remainder of what I owe. This has all been very frustrating.
