I hired Alzati Remodeling to remove the tile around my fireplace and replace with a new tile. I also hired them to replace my stair railing. They started the work by removing the fireplace tile and installing the new tile. Unfortunately, the installed tile did not look good. The tile was not spaced properly and did not sit flushly against the fireplace. I addressed this with Blake and he agreed the tile was not installed correctly. Blake had his employee remove the tile and had a different person come out to properly install the tile. However, the new installer could not perform the work for several weeks and we lost confidence that Alzati Remodeling could complete the job to our specifications. Instead of proceeding, we asked to terminate the contract and get a reimbursement of part of our deposit. At that point, Blake and Jessica at Alzati Remodeling stopped returning calls, text messages, and emails. It’s now been over a month since they have tried to do the work. I am seeking reimbursement of our deposit.
