Good day,I pay Dring every year, for maintenance on the units. On July 3 2024, a Dring technician came to do the summer maintenance on the units, the units are 3 years + old, meaning, pretty new.The technician left the premises, and on leaving I asked him if everything was good, he said no, one of the compressors is failing, I asked him how come, the units are new, he told me "because the way they use them" they are air-conditioning units, the function is to cool down the place to a comfortable temperature, I told him that the units are under warranty, to my surprise he said no they are not until they fail, and if I wanted I had to pay full price for the repair.So my question is if you buy a car from a dealership and your brakes start to fail, would it be OK to keep driving the car until the breaks go out? An Airconditioning unit is as much a safety item as car breaks when its 104 degree temperature.I have spent close to 100 thousand dollars on air-conditioning units with Dring over the years, and I am absolutely disappointed on the way they do business, clients have become numbers, nothing else.The technician left, did not send me the completion of the work done, receipt or anything.Total disappointment.Business response

This is the **** Service Manager here at Dring. I was able to get in contact with ******************* and discuss the issue he was bringing to our attention. This seems to have been a communication issue from our technician to **************. We are taking the steps to address with our technician and I was able to let ************** know why we would recommend the hard start kit as a pro-active measure instead of re-active. ************** is aware and ok with the resolution.Customer response

I have reviewed the business response and even though they say this is part that should have been added to the unit upon purchase and never was added, so Im out of pocket with ***** U$ due to miss information, nothing I can do but pay up.Initial Complaint

Husband contacted ***** HVAC when AC unit stopped working 10/22. Technician came out and got our HVAC working on 22nd. On November 9th our NEST thermostats stopped working. We contact On Tech (separate company) to come look at Thermostat. On Tech comes out and says the reason thermostat isn't working because the ***** technician forgot to put the plate back on our HVAC. We spoke to Manager (*********) at ***** on 11/11. Manager agreed it was an error on their part and that ***** would reimburse us the amount paid to On Tech ($129) as soon as we sent ***** a copy of the On Tech receipt. Receipt was originally sent 11/11. Receipt was resent sent 11/30. Phone call was made to ***** on 12/02 following-up. Follow-up again on 12/05.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/12/29) */ Just to verify we did process a refund through our accounting department in the amount of $113.95 on 12/5/22 which is the amount the customer initially paid on 10/22/22. Hopefully this can clear up any confusion with in regards to this refund. If any further information is needed from us, don't hesitate to reach out.
