      I purchased an item from this store and sought to return it within the allowed timeframe. Guidance on the website advised emailing them for return instructions. I have emailed, submitted a message through their website, and called during business hours numerous times with no response. I went to their ******** page and it looks like ALL of the comments are from disgruntled customers who are in similar situations (paid for items they never received, are not able to return items, have returned items they never received their refund for, etc.)

      On 01/16/2023 Shruti at Leather Bags Gallery let us know that the return process was very simple. Return the bag it would be inspected and the refund would be applied to our account minus a potential restocking fee. On 1/21/2023 The bag was sent back via *** ground with a tracking number and a photo of the receipt was sent to Leather Bags Gallery. On 1/24/2023 we received and email stating 'thank you'. On 2/15/2023 we sent a follow up email to confirm receipt of the bag and had it been inspected and restocked. On 2/21/2023 we were told there is a small team of people working due to COVID but we should be refunded in 5-6 business days. The same day we responded. We did not receive a refund in 5-6 business days. On 3/14; 4/3; 4/14; 4/18; 4/21; 4/25; 4/26; 5/2 and 7/26 we sent follow up emails with no response. Emails were also sent to the contact us page of the website and calls were placed to the number listed on the website with no way to leave a message.

      Description of complaint:I ordered a leather Jacket from ***** Leather after ordering I read reviews and they were not good reviews at all. So I contacted ***** Leather after I ordered to cancel the order on Nov 9th 2023 and on Nov 10th, with no reply they shipped it anyway. On Friday Nov 17th it arrived addressed from ******* - *********** oped the box and the jacket had a horrendous smell like paint, shoes polish or some chemical smell. I emailed the company again asking why this was shipped when I canceled the order, and told them the problem with the smell and look like cheap leather. I've bought leather pants, jackets etc and never a smell a roused out of the box like this. They came back and said take pictures and ship it back with a tracking number and they were deducting $19.99 and I did. The order that jacket was $239 with a 15% = $224.99 discount not sale, but a discount. They emailed me today back saying they they would only offer a store credit. I emailed them back and said I have no use for a store credit after the incident and need to have my credit card refunded from the purchase. I have all the emails sent back and fourth.       I ordered a backpack that initially was shipped and then canceled, I had to reach out for them to resend the backpack. When I did receive the backpack it was defective. I sent it back and NEVER recieved a refund after MULTIPLE attempts to contact this company I still have not got my money back. $170 this man owes me! He goes by the name ****.

      I ordered a leather bag at Christmas time which was a 24" Crazy Horse bag. Then decided I wanted the smaller over night bag as well. I ordered the small Crazy Horse Bag at the price of $179 on line using my debt card the amount was taken out of my account on January 5, 2023. I received an e-mail on February 1st stating they had received my order and was preparing to ship it and I would receive information on how to track nice it was shipped. I never received anymore information. I have called and emailed several times no response. The phone rings and you get a voice saying voicemail has not been setup by this customer. I want my money back loved my first bag but this company does not respond to any emails at all and does not pick up there phone.

      I purchased a canvas leather bag on 12/18/2022 for my husband's Christmas gift. They sent me an email confirmation that I would get an email once my order was shipped. I received the order number #***** and paid $179.99 for it. I tried calling the business multiple times and sent them multiple emails regarding my purchase. It is now 2/21/2023. No one has called or emailed me and my husband never got his Christmas gift.

      During the first week of November I ordered a leather carrying bag ie computer and paperwork. I ordered it from the Leather Bags Gallery. ************. It was a : Men's Handmade Vintage Laptop Leather Briefcase; 15 Inches. I paid $116.00 for it. It came in the mail about a week and a half later I believe. According to their records it came Nov.16th but I received it earlier than that. Problem is that the bag was too small and I wanted to return it and pay for a larger size. I sent the contact person: Samuel S****** several emails but no response. He offered two contact numbers both of which are no longer in service. ****************** He shows a flag on his website so I assumed i was getting an American made product but I think the bags may be made in India not sure. It was also false advertising. He said genuine leather. It's goat leather and has a distinctive smell. All I wanted was to pay for the upgrade in size, which was $43 more. I have never received a response from this man. The contact is *************************** but Samuel S****** pops up when I went to send an email. I am so frustrated and I don't think I am going to buy on the internet anymore! Sincerely,Skip S *******************************************************************

      I ordered a bag on August 23 at 12:58pm and at 2:43pm that same day sent an email to cancel the order. As you will see on the order confirmation, the only method of communication offered by the company is an email address. I received no response. On August 24 at 10:45am, I received an email from LBG stating that the order had been shipped; I sent an email response at 10:57am stating that I had cancelled the order, please stop it from shipping. Again, the only method of communication offered is an email. I received no response. August 25 at 3:14pm, the bag arrived; I immediately sent an email to LBG stating that I had cancelled the order and sent multiple emails, to please send information on how to receive a full refund since the bag had not been opened. At this point, I also got on the website to see if there were other ways to get in touch with the company. The company website only has the info@leatherbagsgallery.com email address, although they also had a "send a message" form, so I sent a message through that method at 3:30pm. August 30, I finally received an email from the company with apologies for their glitches, to send a picture; I did on August 31 at 8:27am. September 2 at 12:44pm, the company sent an email with the return address and indicated that a restocking fee may apply; I responded at 1:00pm stating that i wanted no restocking fee and a refund of shipping since it was supposed to be a cancellation and not a return. After additional email exchanges (attached), the company refuses to see that they are in the wrong (by their own admission due to their "glitches") and refund the bag and associated fees in full, even if it means making an exception to their policies.

      My order number is *****. I placed an order with this company online on 8-16-22. i sent an email to return the item on 8-19-22. The bag did not meet my expectations. Someone by the name of Mike emailed me asked me to send a pic of the bag and I did. Then he offered to send me a different bag. I was not interested in any other bags. I have sent emails on 8-19, 8-21, 8-25 and 8-30 and no one has responded to me. I paid $229.99 for this bag and I want a refund. I have no use for it.

      I placed an order for a Full Grain Duffel Leather Weekend Travel Bag in November of 2021 and I have not received my merchandise yet. There was an issue with the shipping address but I was told that the order was sent, which seems to have been an untrue statement. The order number is ORDER #XXXXX
