On July 26th 2021, I dropped my motorcycle off to Jim at Sabin Performance to remove the secondary butterfly throttle unit and remap my bike. I was told it would be ready for pickup in 2 days(7/28). Week after week Jim would either avoid my calls or give me an excuse as to why the work was not completed. He promised me numerous times that my bike would be ready over the course of months and when that day would come, there would be another excuse or he would not respond until days later. On September 21st, Jim told me he needed to order a wire harness and he needed the money to cover the cost of the order($570) and it would take 4 weeks for shipping. I wired Jim $570(***** on 9/21) for the order and he confirmed receipt. On October 25th I called for an update and Jim said he did not need to order the wire harness and that my bike would be ready within the next week or so. I last spoke to Jim on November 3rd and he said my bike would be ready on November 6th and I have not heard from or been able to contact him since. He has not returned my phone calls or responded to my text messages. I will be going to the shop in a couple of days to see what is going on. I live an hour away from the shop. Jim is extremely unprofessional and does not practice good business habits and I would hate for anyone else to experience what I am currently dealing with. Jim/Sabin Performance has had my motorcycle for 4 months and has been paid money for a part I was told he needed that he never ordered and now is not responding. More than anything, I want my bike repaired and I also want my money back for the $570 part that was never ordered.
