A group of us signed up to play intramural sports with Dallas Sport and Social Club in February 2024. Due to rain and other issues with the league, we only played 2 games instead of 7 so DSSC offered us a prorated refund or "credit" towards a future league. Our team decided to take the prorated refund which was offered on 5/14/24. Since then, we have sent multiple emails asking about the status of this refund and they haven't responded to any inquiries (phone/email). Do not play with Dallas Sport and Social Club. There are plenty of alternatives in the DFW area that won't scam you out of a money.The email text is below.This season has NOT been what anyone expected, right?!?The fields are rained out tonight. This is legit. I have seen the fields. They're slippery, have standing water and are unplayable by any standard.PART 1 NEXT TUESDAY, MAY 21 Your league will have a 1-day tournament. The winner of the tournament will claim the championship shirts and bragging rights for the season. The current forecast is very promising for this. The seedings will be randomly drawn, and the online schedule will be posted tomorrow.PART 2 This season has been a nightmare of bad-weather-luck. It's not the experience we want you to have because it's not an experience we want to go through ourselves! If your team would like to roll your registration into next season, we will do this at no additional cost to you. However, we know your schedule may not allow you to play at this time of year due to any number of factors. Your captain will receive an email tomorrow with details on a prorated refund/credit for this season. Please note: The tourney next week is "our treat." It does not impact the refund/credit offer.NOTE TO INDIVIDUAL TEAMS: Everyone on your team will receive a detailed email tomorrow.Business response

Payment details are only discussed with the team captains who submitted the payments. The complainant here is not the team captain.
The refund was provided to the team captain.
Thank you for providing the detailed communication that was sent out to all league players when DSSC had to decide that ending the season was the most prudent course.
Previous to that, there was the communication of field status each week (as determined by the CIty of Dallas,) along with the game reminders before every scheduled game.
We'd be happy to have you play in a future season that likely won't be assaulted by mother nature (although we can't promise anything about weather with an outdoor league!)
