On May 26th my aunt and I were on a trip to *********, ** to celebrate her 60th birthday. I live in the midwest and often purchase Garrett's popcorn when I am in *******. I thought that this would be a good treat for us so I stopped while the wheelchair assistance person took her to our gate because we were on a tight schedule. I ordered a large caramel cashew and butter popcorn, a small caramel pecan and cheese, and medium caramel and cheese. The first thing wrong with the order is that they did not give me the caramel cashew and butter it was caramel and butter. The second things is that the cheese, butter and caramel were all stale. I reported this to Garretts on Sunday and with several email communications back and forth they decided to tell me on 5/31 that I needed to send them pictures of the uneaten popcorn. I would have been happy to do so if I had not thrown it in the garbage on the 5/27. We were running on a tight schedule to get on our plane and I did not have time to take it back. Once my Aunt and I got to our resort in ********* I proceeded to check the rest of the popcorn and to my surprise it was all stale. Now I have purchased popcorn from them once before and it was stale and I did not do anything but throw it away, it was one bag. However I spent $38.00 on three bags of popcorn and I am so disappointed of their lack of concern and disrespect to me as a customer to with telling me without pictures, 6 days later that they can only give me a $25.00 certificate for instore or online. Many would be happy with that response but I am insulted. With the cost of their product and the standards that they should stand by I expected to be fully compensated and the thoughtlessness that this was for a special occasion and I was totally embarrassed when my aunt said this popcorn was horrible. Garretts shame on you for having representatives that treated me in this way, I deserve an apology and a full refund.
