My account was sold to a separate entity. Paid the debt and Rise is continuously reporting the credit bureaus that the debt is not satisfied which in turn hurts my credit score. They have had no communication or verification with the company they sold the debt to verify debt was paid. I have a receipt of payment and emailed it to their customer support email and to no avail, no response. I've called at least five times and emailed their disputes email address, and the address bounces back non-deliverable. Very stressful situation to say the least. This is my email:Hello,My account has been satisfied for over 4 months now with ******************** However, Rise continuously reports that the debt is not satisfied with the credit bureaus. Please contact the entity that you sold the debt to - ******************* to confirm receipt of this payment. It has been difficult to speak to anyone at Rise regarding this matter. Horrible business!! After going and forth with them for 3 days saying info I sent wasn't good enough, finally got that resolved. Get an email saying I'm approved and will receive funds upon final verification. Get email not 15 minutes later saying declined due to can't verify checking account or it's not in good standing. There is nothing at all wrong with checking account! Seems very suspicious to me.

took my information, including ssn and denied me for not being able to validate a perfectly good checking account. *****. Logged into the banks via Plaid and everything. Took two inquiry credit hits only to be denied for the same stupid reason twice. These people should be prosecuted.

Every time I try to log into my account its a huge problem always have to change my password. Not to mention that the amount you owe is ridiculous. Obviously its not a long term but geeze to borrow such little amount and owe 100 times what you borrowed. Literally so hard to even get hold of them. Terrible!!!

I got the loan, but want to pay it back within 5 business day. According to them no obligation, no fee if it is within 5 days of receiving the funds. For 4 days now I cannot reach them on their phone number. I am on hold for hours at a time waiting to be connected. Their website is giving me an error message, I cannot log on, I cannot contact anyone about how to give this money back! STEER FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

150% !!!! Oh my gosh This horrid place takes advantage of people in need. Duh ??!! I get it!! But charging someone 150% of what is borrowed is INSANITY!! Horrid awful and should be shut down!! Beg in the corner before you agree to anything here! I borrowed $4000 in a desperate time. I have paid back the loan of $4000 PLUS $4000. Thats 50% and I am DONE!! Dont let these people scam you!!!

I took out a loan , paying on it. I did have to call and set up some payment arrangements as I got behind a bit, most behind I got was 21 days. Then they offered settlement , in which I paid.The account took over 2 months to report closed to credit report and when they did, they reported late 30 days. I have been emailed back and forth with the dispute team which says everything is accurate and I know for a fact it was not. I think this company should be investigated as they are doing something really bad over there. They don't care that it is wrong and they make every excuse that it was reported correctly. Complete nonsense.

RISE is just scammy and weird. Im starting to believe what everyone says about them. I had no issue with RISE initially. They would take out automated payments every two weeks from my account. I reached out to them about payment options since I was laid off. They offered me a settlement to close the account, and I accepted. After they received the settlement, they reported the account closed, and I thought we were done. Two weeks after they reported the account closed, they reported the account closed and ***** days past due to TransUnion. I called RISE and spoke with three different representatives asking if there was a remaining payment and any history of the account being past due. They all said NO. I informed them about the credit reporting and they advised me to email the dispute team. The dispute team got back to me and said my account is being reported accurately as Settled (no delinquency). I emailed again and told the dispute team this wasnt accurate, and they emailed back saying the account is being reported accurately as Settled (***** days past due). Then they proceed to offer the options of keeping the false report on my credit history or removing RISE entirely. What type of scammy activity is this? I really think they made a mistake and their system wont allow them to go back and fix it, so instead of being transparent and taking accountability, they proceed with lying and providing the option of keeping a false credit report or removing them from my credit history? I considered using RISE again because I didnt initially have issues, but NEVER AGAIN. The technology and systems are out of date and dont allow them to resolve simple, common issues that *** arise. This is very risky for anyones credit report. PLEASE RUN AWAY. The only person who seems to know what theyre doing is a representative named *****. RISE is highly unethical and unprofessIonal. What they are doing is illegal and they will be caught VERY soon.
