This company was supposed to communicate with our home warranty (American Home Shield) to provide information needed to complete the job. They waited so long that our warranty company closed the job. Westside Plumbing needs to refund $125 or complete the job. It is their fault for not handling the issue in a timely mannerBusiness response

We received a work order from the homeowners home warranty company on 12/1/21. We scheduled and sent out a tech on 12/2/21. The tech noted that the homeowner had a drum trap that needed to be replaced. He went through the authorization process with the home warranty company and gave our estimate to replace the drum trap for $1600.00. The authorization process varies on how long it takes to get a decision with this home warranty company. We were told on 12/15/21 that the claim had been denied by the home warranty company. At that point we cannot complete the job if the home warranty company doesnt agree to pay us to do the job. The homeowner was made aware of the denial and did not want to proceed at their expense. We did attempt to have a new work order made through the home warranty company to revisit the denial but the homeowners were so abusive over the phone to our employees that we asked the home warranty company to send it to another vendor. We did not collect any money from the homeowners, they pay their home warranty directly for service visits. We did charge the warranty company $120.00 for our time involved in the claim. We will not refund the customer as we followed all procedures with their home warranty company and did nothing to affect the decision by the home warranty company to deny the claim.
