Hot Topic, Baybrook Mall is now a horrible store. Some of the employees are rude, unprofessional, lack knowledge about the merchandise and utilizing the cash register. During busy hours, there's THREE girls behind the counter and ONE is checking out customers with a line almost out the store. Today, Saturday, August 3, 2024, I was called and rudely asked, "Do you have plans on picking up your order?" An order which I picked up on July 22, 2024. When I tried to inform the girl on the phone, the order had been picked up, she hung up in my face before I finished my sentence. When, I called back and asked for the manager, and began to inform her what had happened, she lied, claiming the store was having phone difficulties. The more I conversed with her, the more excuses she invented. I informed her I'd be informing the corporate office and was told, "Go ahead." The girls in this store should put on clothes. See more flesh than clothes is unnecessary. Email notifications seem to be a thing of the past. Customer service is definitely nonexistence. Employees will make or break a business.
