We contract with A Better Fence Company to install a metal gate in our side yard. We are extremely disappointed with the sub-par installation and lack of response to our concerns. There are three major areas of concern with the installation (5/23/2024) 1) The powder-coat finish was significantly damaged (scaped-off by the installer) in at least three visually obvious areas. 2) The metal posts are not plumb. 3) The gate post was attached to my neighbors fence after I had clearly and emphatically warned the installer before starting the job, that he was not to attach the new gate to my neighbors iron fence. This has opened me up to potential future litigation from my neighbor.Additionally, the installer left the concreate debris from the previous gate along with packaging material on my lawn for me to deal with and failed to reconnect and return my hose to the hanger. I have left messages and sent detailed e-mails to the company with absolutely no response.I strongly recommend staying away from this company.
