On 9/7/22 I purchased an engine from JDM PLACE OF HOUSTON. Their website listed the motor as an OEM Lexus motor but displayed a pic of a Toyota motor. It was explained away by saying the wrong picture was added but assured me the motor that I was purchasing would be sent to me was an OEM motor. I did not receive an invoice until 2 days after the purchase and no shipping info to track the delivery. This was supposed to be next day delivery which it was not. Once the motor was delivered it was then I discovered that the motor that was sent to me was indeed a Toyota motor. I tried to reach out to the co. to no avail. Many occasions I called, and the co. was trying to avoid contact. I was finally able to get someone on the phone and I explained the situation and tried to come to a solution. He proceeded to yell and be extremely rude. I reached out to card co. to have the situation disputed. Going through the delays I had someone examine the motor and found that it was a dud. There was water in the oil. Completely watered down and a complete ruin to the motor. There was an added substance that did not belong also wrapped around the cap to the oil filter. Not only did they deliberately send the wrong motor, but they also sent a motor that could not possibly run. Going back between my card co. and the seller, I have not been able to get my funds credited back to my card. I have tried numerous times to come to a resolution with the seller. I have asked to send the motor back so they can refund my money they are refusing. Although they initially offered to allow me to send the motor back, they are now refusing because the the card co. has sided with them. The card co. sided with the seller in the dispute because they told the card co, they would issue a refund when I return the motor. They mockingly told me they dont want the motor because “they won the dispute.” This co. defrauded me and the card co. . They are falsely advertising products and sending a different thing.
