      I also spoke with customer service representative Renae. I ordered 2 barbells sets and both barbells were defective. Weight locks didn't thread rendering the weights useless. I submitted a customer service ticket explaining my issue and Renae wrote back, verbatim, "Hi. Ok." That was it. Scam!

      The absolute worst customer service I have ever received! I ordered a weight plate rack and it came with several missing pieces. I had to email the company because they don’t take phone calls. A woman named Renae, claiming to be the customer service manager was extremely rude and refused to help me with my problem. I just needed to be sent the missing pieces, I did not need the whole rack. Super obvious that they do not care about their customers. Would give zero stars if I could! Do not buy from cap barbell!!!!!

      The item was purchased as used through an Amazon used product listing. Customer was informed that free warranty parts are not available on used items however they could be purchased through our customer service department if needed. That resolution was not accepted by the customer at that time. We are happy to provide any parts needed and can still be purchased.

      If I could leave zero stars, I would. This company has awful customer service. Beware purchasing anything from CAP barbell. Any email replies as to address missing parts was rude, abrupt and in no way helpful with the facilitation of getting replacement parts. It is obvious that they are not concerned with after sales customer service. I am amazed that they are still in business

      I bought a multifunctional power rack when I got it home and went to put it together one of the pieces would not allow what screw to go in I emailed cap they said they would send me a replacement part it took 11 months for the part to come in and when I went to go put it together the holes on the new part don't even line up with the rest of the equipment I tried calling their customer service which apparently still under covid restrictions when most other businesses have lifted those overall irate their customer service at a 0 irate their product at a 0 I have try emailing them again to either get a whole new rack or my money back today is May 11th 2022 let's see how long it takes for them to accomplish one or the other

      I purchased a Velocity Rowing Machine model CHR-2001 manufactured by CAP Barbell and marketed through Amazon. The equipment has malfunctioned and calls to The customer service number in the manual are answered with a message that no calls are being taken due to Covid. I get the same response when calling CAP customer service as well. I have sent emails to customer service at CAP and the have gone unanswered. I have also filled out the online contact form with no response. I am really disappointed as I spent about $500 on a pics of exercise equipment that does not work and I cannot get any contact with the company

      I ordered a CAP squat rack off ******, when delivery was made the box was all torn up and the packaging with all the nuts and bolts needed to assemble it were torn open and missing. Reached out to their customer service department and they said they ordered the parts and that were missing. It’s been weeks now and no parts have been delivered. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

      I bought the 300# Olympic set through a 3rd party vendor, the set holes on the plates had an extremely rough casting, and some are even hard to get on the bar. Unfortunately I broke my ankle during the return period, so there was no way to return. I reached out to CAPs customer service, and they were extremely rude, and refused to assist in any way. I asked if I could speak to a manager, since my disability prevented me from returning there faulty product, and they stopped communication completely with me after that. I have probably emailed them 20 plus times, and they just don't reply. It seems not responding is how they avoid fixing the problems with their faulty products, from my experience, and all if the other reviews out here. I wish I would have seen the other reviews before purchasing because it seems that this company does not care about their customers, or about providing their customers with faulty products. These products are really dangerous because of the jagged edges from poor casting, and the products are a liability.
