2014 Dodge Ram was taken to AutoNation Chrysler Dodge On 11/29/2023 for ticking sound in engine that was diagnosed as tappets and lifter malfunction. On 12/15/2023 I was notified that the technician could not extract the bolts to the cylinder heads and notified me he had cracked one of the manifolds trying to replace the tappets. My service advisor notified me that he would have to replace the parts that were broken by the tech and would go through my lifetime warranty to replace the parts that were broken by the tech at AutoNation Chrysler Dodge. This is fraud since this was an act of negligence on their behalf and not by manufacture defect. My warranty with Mopar is to be used only by manufacture defects and not to help pay for repairs caused by the dealership. On 12/20/2023 I was called to retrieve my vehicle as the issue was resolved. About 5 hours later after I picked up the vehicle from the dealership, I was driving on the freeway and heard a loud banging and clanking noise coming from inside the engine. I took the vehicle back to the dealership the next morning and notified them of the issue. I was assured it would be fixed since it was their mistake. On December 28th, 2023 the technician notified me the problem was the MDS solenoid that was causing misfires. On 1/5/ 2024, the technician stated that the replacement of the solenoid did not fix the issue. On 1/17/2024 the tech stated the truck needed an ABS module which was not a part of the original issue. He ordered one without my permission on the guidance of his director. They stated they would cover the cost. The ABS module along with a new transmission request was put through warranty with Mopar. Mopar denied the request and canceled my warranty on the basis of the cost being over $232.15 the value of my vehicle. I was told to retrieve my vehicle on 2/16/2024. My vehicle was never repaired as it struggles to takeoff, the check engine light on, with the ticking in the engine remaining.

I traded my Ram Truck in at another dealership after only having it for 19 months. I have talked to Dain in finance to let him know I want refunded for all of the extra warranties I bought. He said he took care of it but I still have not gotten anything. I have emailed and called and emailed and called but He is NOT replying to me. I have asked to talk to the General Manager and every time he is either not there yet or already left for the day.

I took in my Jeep Gladiator for a standard oil change, tire rebalancing, and rotation. I took it back and drove on the Highway and heard a very noticeable roaring noise. I took it back asking them if they had rebalanced and rotated my tires wrong. They then took my jeep back and told me there was something wrong with my rear differential in the span of 5 minutes which was very quick for that assumption. They then told me that I would get a rental car free of charge since it was part of the warranty. They told me that they would extend the car rental if the repair took longer and I asked if I was gonna get charged for the car rental, and they said no. I returned the rental after the repair was done and confirmed once again if I was gonna get charged for the rental and they said no since the warranty repair took longer than expected. When I checked my bank statement later I saw a charge from Hertz where the dealership gets the rental cars from. I proceeded to call the dealer asking why I was charged. They said that I had to pay for the Car rental insurance and that the dealership was only paying for the car rental themselves. I find this very misleading since they told me that they were paying for the car rental 100%. Any reasonable person would think car insurance would be part of the car rental coverage itself. This is also the same dealership that made me call my insurance at 9 pm to add my new vehicle in order for me to drive it home. I was not given any paper trail for the rental at the time of the transaction. In addition to no receipts, I was not given any waiver or form of agreement. To end the transaction, I restated the terms of no extra charge and they reconfirmed it.

In May I took my jeep in after it stopped running on the highway. Turbo blew. Covered under Warranty. June 30 I picked it up. Barely drove a mile and had the same issue. took it back. 2 months later dealer says I need to provide service records as engine is blown. I did. It's now October. I've authorized a chemical wash in an attempt to avoid replacing the engine. No warranty decision from the company, and after 3+ weeks the chemical wash still hasn't been done. I've been without my car for almost 6 months paying payments, on what was originally a warranty repair. That repair clearly caused the engine issues and yet they won't rule it under warranty they won't say it isn't. I keep renting cars without reimbursement, and get zero answers, momentum or movement towards getting my jeep back or getting a replacement car so I can stop paying Insurance and the lender on a car I haven't drive since. I sold a vehicle to another dealership that I purchased at Auto Nation Dodge in Katy, Tx. Following the sale, I requested cancellation of the gap insurance and an extended warranty plan that was purchased with the vehicle from Auto Nation. I returned the signed documents that were requested by the dealership. I received a refund for the gap insurance, however, I did not receive an acknowledgment or refund for the cancellation of the extended warranty plan. I tried to contact the finance department several times by phone and email in regards to the status of the cancellation. When contacted by phone the finance department would not answer the phone or return a call for messages left with voicemail and/or other contacts in other departments. I sent emails with delivery and read receipts to contacts within the finance department. I did not receive any replies to these emails. I attempted an online customer service chat and was told I would receive a follow up phone call. I did not receive a follow up.

My car was last serviced at this location on 07/06/2023. My car engine overheated on 16 August 2023. I had it towed to ********* ******** they informed me that someone had put stop leak into my system which caused the overheat which affected my thermostat, water pump and cooling sensors. I spoke to a Jimmy ******** and sent him photos in regards to incident he told me there was no way stop leak was put into my system but would get back to me. I called today at 21 August 2023 and spoke with another Service Manager Ray who tried to get me on the phone with Jimmy. I was told it is not there fault and that the issue stated by ********* ******** is inaccurate. I believe they are trying to cover for there workers using a product not allowed at there dealership. I would like AutoNation to cover the costs of getting these items repaired at ********* ******** because i have lost all faith with trusting my vehicle with them at this point in time.

Purchased a Jeep Gladiator on June 12, 2023. Several issues. First Melanie ***** of Finance incorrectly put gray instead of red on the buyers tag/temporary plate. Had to reach out to correct this, or I’d risk being stopped by the police due to this. Second and more pressing issue is Melanie said I’d have gap insurance provided me a gap ********* contract, stated it would be $1200 and she’d charge us for a warranty for the same amount then cancel it and apply the funds to cover the gap since she stated **** doesn’t seem to allow gap to be sold directly from them but allows separately such as someone paying themselves. It is now over a month later and I called ********* to check if the gap was active but it’s not. Melanie did not reach out to me via text for almost three weeks, from June 30th to July 18th she ignored my texts inquiring on my gap coverage. Screenshots are taken here. She then tells me on July 18th (Tuesday) she’ll look into the delay or the reason the contract isn’t at ********* yet. Melanie later tells me I should just get gap with my auto insurance, which confuses me as she charged me $1200 for the gap coverage. Furthermore my auto insurance provider (State Farm) does NOT offer gap coverage. My mother and I request to speak to the manager, which Melanie states in text is Phyllis. I leave a voicemail for autonation finance team on July 19 for the Supervisor of finance which I believed was Phyllis. I received a call on July 20 from ******* Ware, he informed me he is Melanie’s supervisor, not Phyllis. ******* stated within 48 hours he’d review and then he’d reach out to me and had me email him the documents from Melanie. I did not receive correspondence from him, so I emailed him again today, July 24, 2023. He responded he’ll get back to me on Wednesday but claims: “I looked into this matter on Friday there was more to this. I will reach out to you on Wednesday when I get back into the office.” No resolution still. I need my gap!

My 2021 TRX Dodge was stolen on May 10th at 3:30 PM from the service parking lot behind the dealership and I was notified on May 16th, six days later from Diego, the service representative. Dealership is refusing to assist in any shape or form.

On April 3 my daughter and I went to AutoNation Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to look at some cars. We ultimately decided on a 2012 Acura TL due to the condition, low milage for the year, and great service record. I initially asked the salesman if they were a little flexible on price, I thought it was a little high for the year and he said no, they have a very competitive price, BUT, their specialty is in financing and they offer excellent financing options and rates. So I agreed on the price so long as we can work out the financing. I show the salesman a pre-approval email from my credit union to finance a used car at a low rate of 6%. Fast forward three hours later, my credit union is closed and it's around 10 pm now at this point, because the salesman and person in finance were playing some type of games for a very long time back there. They ultimately said that they cannot come close to matching the APR. I said no problem I can go then this was a big waste of time, I drove over 2 hours from Austin and you claimed to be excellent in the finance department. However, the head finance guy suggested that there's an option, to just purchase it from them at their high APR (since I DO HAVE AN EXCELLENT credit score and a pre-approval letter from my credit union), then wait a few weeks and refinance it through my credit union or somewhere else at the better rate. I agreed I would purchase it and then refinance it. After waiting a couple weeks and contacting my credit union, as well as a couple other finance companies, they all tell me the same thing that the car is too old for them to finance as a used car. They also all told me the head finance guy new better and should've never suggested that I'd be able to refinance it knowing that no bank will accept it due to it's age. I truly feel like they purposely lied to me to get me to finance a car at a very high APR through them knowing I wouldn't be able to later refinance somewhere else.

I have spent $15,000 total in two transactions to get my Jeep ***** ******** fixed. It is now six months later without the vehicle and the vehicle is not fixed. I would like the dealership to refund my money and purchase the vehicle since it now has a service history that is unresolved.
