On June 7, 2021, we ordered a KitchenAid built-in refrigerator from Bayne Homeworks. We paid for the refrigerator in full with a credit card -- $9692.98. Originally the refrigerator was to have been delivered in August 2021. Bayne Homeworks has continued to blame the delay on supply chain issues. We have not received the refrigerator. I emailed the owner of the company, Randy, and his email response was a generic response stating that they have gone out of business.Initial Complaint

I bought and paid for a ********* refrigerator on Feb 26, 2023, $2179.56 Delivery was stated to be April 2022. After many delays and reschedule statements, they are now not answering or responding to phone calls.Initial Complaint

Randy at Bayne Homeworks sold me a washer and dryer in the amount of $2473.25 on May 31, 2022. Randy, the owner, assured me it would be delivered on June 3, 2022. Week after week Randy Bayne has made promises and now 18 weeks later I still don’t have a washer and dryer, nor do I have my money back. He is a scammer and a liar and makes up excuses every few days. After extensive research, I found out Randy has done this to 20+ people. He’s taken money from mainly women and does not issue refunds and does not order the appliances. If they are ordered, he has no proof of where or how they were ordered or where they currently are, or when it will be in. I honestly believe he takes peoples money and possibly used it to remodel his business and never ordered anyone’s appliances.Initial Complaint

On September 20, 2021, I purchased: 1. An in-wall oven (Model ********* 6.4 cu. ft. ************Smart Combination Wall Oven with Touchscreen), $3,042.00. 2. Gas cooktop (Model *************, 36" Whirlpool gas cooktop with EZ-2 lift, Hinged Cast-Iron Grates), $869.00. 3. Delivery & Installation, $155, with a $25.00 discount 4. Sales Tax $322.66 **Paid with ******** $4,363.66 On October 5, 2021, I purchased: 1. Refrigerator (Model **********, 36" Whirlpool 36" 25 cu. ft. Wide side-by-side refrigerator), $1,207.00 2. Delivery & Installation, $95.00 3. Sales Tax $99.58 **Paid with ********** $1401.58 We have waited for almost 1 year for our appliances. We were informed the stovetop has arrived at Baynes Appliances in League City and the remaining two appliances, (in-wall oven and refrigerator) are in Dallas, Texas in a storage lot in one of the many product containers waiting to be shipped. I spoke with the owner at Bayne's Appliances on Wednesday, September 16, 2022, who informed me that Baynes Appliances has been sold to another company. He assured me that we will receive our appliances that are in a storage lot in Dallas next week to include the stovetop that is at Baynes Appliances in League City. He further stated that Baynes Appliances is closed this week to complete a thorough inventory for the new company takeover and the new company will open on Monday, September 19, 2022. The amount of money spent at Bayne's Appliances totals $5,765.24 and we have yet to receive anything. Bayne's Appliances has assured me throughout the year that I will receive my appliances. The nature of my dispute is to receive my appliances as promised. The work order for the in-wall oven and cooktop on September 20, 2021, is Order# SSO-********* The work order for the refrigerator for October 5, 2021, is Order#SSO-***********Initial Complaint

08/02/2021 ordered 2 ovens - told because of Covid microchips were not available so delivery would be delayed…then ovens were in containers on a ship… then in Dallas but couldn’t get drivers to deliver and on, & on. Cancelled order last week. Merchant will not give a refund as promised. Still getting excuses! HELP! We are out $2,506.50!Initial Complaint

Purchase of Washer/Dryer was made on 08/14/2021 for Speed Queen units. The purchased Speed Queen units could not be delivered and we were offered Maytag units on 02/25/2022 which we accepted. The Maytag units were never delivered and we canceled the order on 07/29/2022. We requested a full refund plus the $100 inconvenience fee the company offered us since they could not fulfill the order. We have been waiting for two weeks since we were promised full refund in the mail, as 09/01/22 no refund has been presented and nor has a date been provided of a refund to be produced.
