      On January 17, 2024, I took my vehicle in to be repaired and paid over $1800 to get my transmission fixed and as of today April 8, 2024 I still do not have my vehicle back from them. They lied and said it would be ready in 1 week in January. After having the vehicle for one week, it had to be taken back and they have had my car every since. I tried with the Midas general manager to get my car fixed and nothing has happened. I have accumulated over $1000 in rental car fees waiting on my car to be fixed and nothing has happened yet.

      Good Morning, Over 1 month ago, my boyfriend and I went to Midas in *************** to get a parking brake fixed on a **** ***** Blazer. The company told us that we had to pay the money for the service up front. The money was approximately $860 (I can get the exact amount if necessary). Once we paid the money, they said they would order the part and let us know when it arrives. After about 2 weeks of not hearing from them, we called requesting a refund since it was taking so long. We planned to go somewhere else for the service. When we called, they said that they have the part and were waiting for us to show up for them to fix it. So we showed up, and they said they don't have any availability to fix the vehicle. They also said they don't do appointments. We kept showing up until the finally were available. Once we got there, they said "actually, we need another part to be able to repair the vehicle, so we can't fix it". So we had to wait for them to "order another part". Another few weeks went by, and we called again asking for a refund since the service wasn't done. They said that they have been trying to find the part but they cannot locate it anywhere. So, we said that we will just take a refund. For weeks we have been asking for a refund, and every time we call, they say "we will have the manager call you". The manager NEVER called us and it has been weeks!!!!! We still do not have our refund and we also do not have a fixed parking brake!!! The company said they don't have a number for us to call the manager and they can't "tell him to drop everything he is doing just to call us". He has never called and the company refuses to give us a refund for a service that was never done. They only say "we will call you". I am planning to escalate the issue to corporate and consumer relations. No one is resolving the issue of simply providing a refund for a service we NEVER received and this is highly frustrating and unacceptable. I have called for a resolution MANY times!
