I signed up online using their website to take LTC course and I paid $25 through ******* Three weeks prior to the course date August 24th, I requested to cancel and requested a refund for the $25. They refused to refund my money. In tiny print on their website, it states they only provide transfers and not refunds. This is an unethical business practice.Business response

We did not refund because in communication with the buyer he admitted he read the website that says "make sure you check the location you are taking the class because there are other businesses with similar names that opened after us that offer classes" but bought it anyway just assuming we were the same company.
that statement on our website isn't in small print, you have to read that when signing up for the classes.
once I told him no he was not going to get a refund he repeatedly texting the business phone which pushy texts to get us to refund, then he'd seem to soften and apologize, the get angry again.
It got to the point I had to tell him to not contact us again. I don't have other people having this issue because they read what they are buying before they buy it.
I'd suggest anyone in the path of this customer to be wary as he doesn't follow directions or disappointment well and when dealing with firearms and gun ranges that is imperative.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
This business owner is not telling the truth and is now slandering my name. Ive attached my text messages. There was no anger in any of my text messages. Neither was there any apology from me or a request for no further contact from them. The truth is that this business owner is angry that another nearby business has the exact same name. Im sure many customers have made the same mistake as me which is why they put the no refund policy in small writing on their website. Customers should not be punished or slandered for an issue the business owner has with another business with the same exact name. I do not think it is unreasonable to request a refund 3 months in advance of a class date.

I am rejecting this response because:
This business continues to run an unethical no refund policy even when consumers request it in advance resulting in business gained profits without providing a service or product to the consumer. Additionally, they have spread slanderous lies about my character which has caused me undue stress and harm to my mental health.
