On April 5, 2022 my wife and I pulled into 57 Xpress lube to get an oil change. This man asked if we had been there before and walked away, this guys name is ****. Another man did the oil change and told us it was 88 dollars which is 20 dollars higher than before. When I questioned why we had not been made aware of this the man , **** got very rude and started cussing me and my wife. At which time I told him he could not do these things and he cussed even more and scared my wife, We left before I lost my temper. We were not made aware of anything or asked anything before the service was done, I wish there was other things we could do legally but this is all we know.Business response

We have multiple signs stating that our prices have gone up. The gentleman was being so rude and irate about the pricing going up to another employee, which **** then stepped in to try and calm the situation. He could hear the customer yelling from across the shop. When **** approached the customer he continued to yell and get in his face stating that we were not going to rail road him. **** continued to try and calm the situation down by showing said signage on the front desk of our main office. **** showed the customer his records of his previous service on the computer to show we did do what we offered to do to his car as was previously stated. We simply performed the same oil change that was performed as last service. The customer was asked if he would like to repeat his previous service, which is policy here to ask. **** did not cuss this customer out, as witnessed by multiple employees that were present during this encounter with this customer. **** did offer a discount however the gentleman, still being very rude and irate, declined the offer. We did not extend the discount at this point. It became more of a necessity to simply get the customer on his way, because it didn’t seem anything we offered him was going to resolve the situation. The customer, after checking out, asked if **** would reset his oil change light. **** proceeded to reset the light for the customer which concluded the interaction on that day.
