Heart of Texas Electric Co-op staging supervisor who is a friend of my neighbor ********************* put ****************** private utility pole on my property easement which is part of my survey. ******************* utility pole was in his back yard when he purchased property and had Hotec come put in a new pole in on my property easement instead of using ******************** easement property . Before this happened *************** asked me to sell him my property easement he needed more yard space and I told him no. My Water meter and water lines were on that easement which I had to purchase from ******************* Corporation. We have to buy our own water meters and pay to have them installed. **************** then had ***** come and set him a new pole for his private utilities to his house from his back yard to front and put it on my property easement. The staging supervisor who put the pole on my easement property is friends with **************** and knows people at Lakeaire HOA in my neighborhood. This was done intentionally by ***** and ********************* to inflate the size of ************************* land. There was no reason for Hotec to use my property easement for ************************* private utility pole. *************** also put a water outlet, sewer a d additional electrical outlet further down from the pole. He did finally remove the electrical outlet but left the water outlet and sewer line.I would like to sell in the near future and I have to tell whoever buys my property Oh by the way this is your property and Water meter but that's your neighbors private utility pole water outlet on your land. ***** has failed to provide a valid explanation why they put ************************* private pole on my easement property. They keep telling me it's easement and we can put it there. *************** had plenty of easement property to put his private utility pole. They said they can move it if I want to pay for it. **************** told me ***** said he could use my easement property for his personal use. Unable to upload pictures. I can send via Gmail.

      Dear member,

Heart of Texas Electric Cooperative (HOTEC) has received your complaint #CP2024030047 filed with the customer protection ******** of ***************************** of Texas.

As previously discussed in several of our emails and phone conversations, based on the attached ******** II Restrictions and ******** II Plat, the utility pole you are referencing is situated inside the utility easement. Number 10 on page 7 states that each lot has a 6 ft utility easement on front, rear, and side property lines. Your ****, 344, is within this plat. This was also confirmed by 2 site visits by a HOTEC technician in the past, which is why the pole has remained where it is. It was also most recently confirmed by the president of your HOA.

Also, I apologize that you feel like this has something to do with a friendship between an employee and your neighbor, but I can assure you that is not the case. HOTEC follows procedure on all jobs.

After your review of the attached information, if you have any further questions, please contact the office number listed below.

      Thank you,

I tried to contact them due to us feeling over charged. During the time I was contacting them, I kept being sent to an over flow call center. They could not help at all. Every time I try to call I get the same answer. To call back and no will do anything.
