I hired movers to move all of my furniture to a ******. This was the second time I hired these movers, the first time being 6 months earlier and they only moved already wrapped furniture pieces. When they loading my tv I asked them if it was okay for it to be put in my ***** or if I should put it in my car and they confirmed multiple times that it would be fine in the ******. I saw them tie rope through the back vents of the tv and tie it over and tighter several times. This concerned me because I know how sensitive tvs are but just trusted that they knew what they were doing. When I asked if the tv would be okay like that, they stated it should be but they had broken tvs before and had to pay for a replacement. So why would they tie my tv down in a way that had resulted in damage before?? When I got to my new destination and plugged my tv in I noticed that in the exact area that I saw him tie too tight my tv had been pulled from the back and was broken. I reached out to file a claim with them and had to follow up several times, they eventually denied my claim and stated they they I can’t prove that they’re the ones who broke my tv??? like i didn’t break my tv myself? i saw them tie it too tight. Now i’m out of pocket for ****** $400 move and another $400 tv that I had to replace myself. I would like my money and my tip back - it all went to replacing the item they broke anyways. If you value your items I wouldn’t hire them, they seemed to be more concerned with doing as many moves a day instead of ensuring your items are safe. This is only one of several issues and communication issues I had with them.
