Killed a family member. Our little dog ended up with kennel cough from getting her groom ( that didn't even happen and was brought up to her because we spent 60 to get it done.) We didn't get notified there was kennel cough. After being unhappy about the groom, we got blocked from communication. Since the start of her shop, we have used her service, and we are very disappointed and distraught to lose our dog over this. The ****** reviews in the last few months show that the service has been horrible for others as well, and I don't want someone else's animal to suffer. Vet confirmed.

***************** brought the dog in on February 2nd, 2022. Keep in mind this is a senior dog with health issues and skin issues. The dog has repeatedly been brought to us in poor condition. We have had many conversations about this and how to prevent it. Typically, ***************** prefers to keep the dog in the breed cut, however, due the dogs ****************** level it had been decided that it was in the dogs best interest to no longer put her through the pain and discomfort of dematting. So,on Feb. 2nd, when the dog arrived in poor condition we advised that we would not dematt. Spot shaving the matts is what was eventually agreed on and that what we did. No complaints were made or questions asked when ***************** picked up the dog. The next communication we received from ***************** was approximately 3 weeks later. At the time, the only issue she had was regarding the groom. There was never a mention of illness until after i informed her that our policy states that we must be contacted within 3 days of seeing the pet if corrections are need to be made to the groom and that a refund was simply not an option due to the amount of time passed. That is when she mentioned kennel cough. It was brief and she never asked for reimbursement or offered up a vet ****. She did, however, volunteer pictures of the dog, that were taken during our conversation, in reference to the groom. We have not had any pets get sick in our care, ever. My shop is deep cleaned and disinfected weekly. We disinfect as part of our daily cleaning and the area of the shop where the dogs are kept is pressure washed and disinfected monthly. I bring my shih tzu to work with me every day and he roams freely throughout the shop and has never gotten sick. Even though it was against my policy, and its something I've never done for anyone else, I offered more than once to try to come up with a resolution. When ***************** became rude,I ended the conversation. I had gone out of my way to try to work with her simply because of our personal relationship, but she was not willing to compromise. ***************** has not been blocked in any form from communicating with me. She has my personal cell phone number, access to my shops ******** page and as of this moment while I am responding to you, her and I are still "friends" on my personal ********. I will gladly submit screenshots of our conversation as well as screenshots showing she has not been blocked from communicating with me. I often as my clients for reviews, specifically asking for good or bad reviews. I need to know what mistakes i am making in order to correct them and prevent them. The key to a bad review is that it must be an honest review in order for it to do any good. I have always enjoyed working with ************ dogs, it is unfortunate that ***************** and I were unable to come to a reasonable resolution.
