************** deposited an $8,200.00 check drawn on an account in his name at another bank via ATM. We placed a hold on this item in accordance with Regulation CC, disclosures, and the account agreement. The check hold process does not contain a demographic component or analysis and is applied to all customers equally and automatically. We hold checks per the Reg CC standard and in the same manner that every financial institution in the US does. ************** utilized the funds provisionally credited from his deposit on multiple transactions as soon as the funds were made available, and the check ************** deposited was then returned to the bank as Frozen/Blocked. ************** knowingly used funds credited from a hot check, or kited check, and now has an overdrawn account of $5,524.12. No billing adjustments will be made.
