This is a complaint. History: I started receiving treatment from Curis Functional Health on January 4, 2022 due to back pain under the treatment of Dr. K. G*****. I was quoted 24 sessions at $2,089.83 based on what was projected by my insurance to pay. I was put on a payment plan of 4 payments at $522.46. This was due on the 10th of every month until completion. I paid my amount until a certain point when I was told by the clinic that my insurance is paying more than what was initially projected and to pause payments. I completed my treatment on April 27, 2022. At that time, I was told that almost all my claims had been paid by insurance and that I would receive a refund of about $428.00. At first, I was told it would be by check but now I am being told it is being held up by corporate bureaucracy. I have been waiting for my refund since then which is now over 60 days. I have never in my life waited this long for a refund. It seems to me that companies are quick to take your money but when a refund is due you find every excuse in the book to hold my hard-earned money. I, in good faith, paid you for a service as well as the insurance company so I am not understanding the hold up in my refund. Your company appears to not care about the customer but you bottom line and your share holders. So here is what is going to happen. A copy of this is going to your corporate office, as well as me filing a grievance with my insurance regarding your poor business practices. Also, I will be filing a complain with the Better Business Bureau to shine a light on this issue. Usually, most businesses try to have issues like this resolved in 60 days from the last date of service barring no pending insurance claims. Since none of that is the hold up, I expect this to be resolved by no later than July 7, 2022 and my $428.00 refunded. It appears as though as soon as I informed the business of this BBB claim they resolved the issues. I received my refund today. Thanks again for your help. **************************************
