On October 7th, 2021 I Paid A 100 Dollar Deposit To Avilas Party Rentals On A Bounce House Which Full Price Was 190 For November 5th,2021. On October 23rd, 2021 I Contacted Avilas Party Rentals To Make Sure Everything Was Still In Place To Discover That They Sold The Bounce House That I Paid A Deposit On They Refused To Refund Me My Deposit Back For Something They No Longer Had And Instead They Wanted Me To Put My Deposit Towards A More Expensive Bounce House And I Didn’t The Money At The Time I Just Wanted My Refund And I Was BlockedBusiness response

Hello, yes we certainly had dealt with this costumer how ever, we had to sell the bounce house That same day we sold it she texted asking about her oncoming booking with us so we kindly let her know we just had sold it we also kindly let her know she had two choices, to switch bouncers or to get full refund, she asked about our other options we had for her to switch bouncers and we sent a couple other bounce houses we have she said they were too expensive so I told her we could give her a discount due to this inconvenience we fixed up a good deal for her and she AGREED to everything and all the changes we did were effective that day. Days passed and a couple days before the party she just texted saying “ma’am I would like my deposit back” and we proceded to kindly explain to her that her deposit was not refundable anymore because we have a strict policy stating that after a deposit is set up for a date it is no longer refundable due to us having to turn down other people inquiries for that same day and unit. We understand we had an inconvenience the first time but we gave her the option to have her deposit back the first time and she chose to switch units which means deposit is back on hold for that day and unit. She canceled days after so we are very sorry we can’t give deposit back anymore we were very kind explaining everything to her after that we said have a great day and I dismissed the conversation.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: First The Description Under The Photos Of The Bounce House On Their Now Deleted Website Said That The Deposit Was Refundable, This Company Never Gave Me The Choice To Get A Refund They Just Skipped Over My Message For A Refund And Told Me To Get Another Bounce House Which I Never Fully Agreed To I Paid The Deposit On An Exact Product That Shouldn’t Have Been Sold, I Messaged The Company On October 23rd Asking For A Refund And My Party Wasn’t Until November 5th
