  I was referred to Prater Concrete of *********, ***** in September 2022 by ****'s List to pour my concrete stamped patio. On September 3, 2022 check #**** in the amount of four hundred ($400.00) dollars was paid and Prater Concrete and cashed immediately. Shortly thereafter they arrived at my residence with no geometric design from the salesperson which was previously discussed planned and designed; they ask me, "Okay what are we doing here today!". They did not have sufficient framing materials for holding the concrete in place, so I let them borrow my 2" x 6" lumber I had in the garage, They poured the concrete with no slope or accountability for drainage resulting in massive puddles whenever it rains and creating a building code violation trapping water on the foundation. Leaving the job haphazardly to go to another job needing concrete the Prater brother drove the truck away from my residence guaranteeing me that he was leaving me in good hands with his coworkers who could not comprehend or speak English. Everyone consulted afterwards requested that I contact Prater demanding that they fix the violations. Prater heard the compliants, read the e-mails, saw the pictures I provided and refused to cooperate or respond until their brother **** Prater returned from his vacation in ******. When **** Prater finally comes to my property he witnesses the incompetent poor quality workmanship of his brothers and coworkers. **** Prater pours additional concrete over my original existing brushed concrete foundation covering the weep holes of my house to accommodate water drainage and more or less creating an obtuse parabola shape mid patio. I paid check #**** in the amount of twelve hundred ($1200.00) to **** Prater on Monday, November 14, 2022. Through a mild ***** winter just four (4) months later I have cracks on the concrete where it is breaking away from the foundation,brick and cedar posts of my pergola. Due to the lack of structural integrity which is pathetic.

  We contracted Prater Concrete to pour a stamped concrete patio stained to look like flagstone. The work was completed and were were invoiced $3,330.00 on invoice #**** dated 9/29/21. We were told the stain may need to be resealed every 3-4 years. In April 2022 we noticed the stain was flaking off in multiple areas across the patio. I began calling the number on the invoice which goes to the sales person, Ron. When I spoke to Ron he said I needed to talk to the office and provided Amber's number. After several attempts with no response, I called Ron again and he then gave me the number of the business owner, Ryan, and suggested I call him. After a month of leaving voice and text messages, Berto was sent to apply more stain to the chipped areas. This only made the area darker but the chipped area is still visible. We had trouble communicating with Berto (his first language is not English) so we asked him to stop, we would follow up with Ryan for a different solution. Between 4/15/22 and 6/23/22 I have called a total of 27 times, left as many texts, sent multiple photos. I have never received a call back or had a conversation with Ryan or anyone from the office. What little communication I've received has been via text. All I want is for the defect to be corrected (current stain removed, re-stained and sealed). If Prater Concrete is not willing to stand by their product and make this correction then I expect to be reimbursed for the expense incurred by employing another company to make the correction. I don't think this is an unreasonable expectation after spending $3,300.
