Stay away from the service department! They refuse to honor warranty work, even after a lengthy review process with the corporate warranty people. Apparently if you take a vehicle to more than one **** dealer because they are weeks behind, that is grounds to void the factory warranty. I guess these trucks are only built to go 2 years and 51k miles before the engine has a catastrophic failure. Shows just how little you care for veteran owned small business owners just trying to survive and feed their families.Review from Danette G

DO NOT BUY FROM PROSPER FORD. My daughter bought a 2017 Santa Fe from them in early April. Not even a month later, she broke down on the Tollway in ******. Had to have her car towed to a ******* dealer. The engine blew. It's a known issue with that car and a recall was done a few years ago. When she purchased it, they said that any recalls on the car had been taken care of. It took ******* a few weeks to fix it and when she got it back, only 2 weeks later the car broke down on the tollway AGAIN! This time ******* says it's the Fuel Injector and she will have to pay $1400 to fix it herself. We contacted Prosper Ford because this is where she bought the car that she's paying monthly and hasn't been able to drive very much at all. She saved for months to get this car and has only been able to drive it for a little over a month in the 3 1/2 months that she'd had it. Prosper Ford is refusing to do anything about it. I know... it's a used car and you are buying it as-is. However, she did purchase a 6-month warranty on it incase anything went wrong with it. Apparently, this isn't covered under that warranty. This is so wrong and we feel like they're taking advantage of a young girl. This is bad business practice. I will be warning everyone I know not to purchase a car from them... ever! Forgot to add..... my husband went in there to talk to him and they basically laughed at him. Jerks.Review from Amanda C

If you are in the car buying process I highly discourage from considering this dealership in your search. Pricing online is dishonest and misleading and the sales representatives are incredibly unhelpful and not knowledgable. There is a reason the lot is full of cars/trucks and neighboring dealers are not.Review from Tanner M

Our **** Transit had a part malfunction, so we towed it to this Prosper Dealership. In a couple of days our van will have been there for a month. After fixing and investigating several possible issues they believe they finally figured out what it was, and, 5 days ago, ordered the replacement part and said it would be there within 3-4 days and they'd install the new part that same day. On day (yesterday) I called to check the status and found that the part hadn't been ordered. Apparently they placed the order and we're waiting another 3-4 days. Meanwhile, we have lost out on over $10,000 plus the cost of repairs by not having our van. They're unwilling to even try and help us get into another vehicle so that we can continue to run our business. We're very disappointed in this business. Wish we would have gone somewhere else for repairs, or better yet, purchased a more reliable vehicle from the get go.Review from Troy B

I have never left a bad reveiw before in my life but absolutely have to after dealing with this dealorship ... Found a car on Autotrader called and spoke with a sales member. Was then connected with ***** who was the sales manager. We worked out a deal on a Thursday afternoon with him. Filled out everything online he sent, didnt hear anything back called back Friday to put a deposit down before I made the long distance drive. Was then told they couldnt hold the vehicle if i put a deposit down because its first come first serve when they had already agreed to take a deposit to hold the truck. Was then told they would take a deposit on Saturday afternoon and hold the truck if they didnt sell the vehicle. After all the run around of being told different things they then call and tell me that they normally mark there vehicles up $1,900.00 and that they have appointments for Monday on the truck and this person agreed to pay the $1,900.00 dealorship fee, basically trying to have me agree to pay more if I want the vehicle that we already made a deal on. After all of this they tell me well if this appointment doesnt buy it then we will contact you. So they worked out a deal with me then tried and selling the truck for 4 days all the mean time giving me the run around of telling me to wait while they are trying to get more money for the vehicle that already had an agreed deal on.Review from Paul M

If you live out of town and youre interested in a vehicle that theyre selling online in my personal opinion, I wouldnt make the time and make effort to take the trip. I lost family time and money on plane tickets. They offered to pick me up from the *********** but because it got delay they refused to pick me up with the change of time. They sold vehicle from under me I was running late and I couldnt get there on time at 8pm. I spent over $700 on plane tickets to get me there and back. What convince me to take the trip; sales manager ***** negotiate a price on late Saturday we agree to it. I tell him I cant go till Monday the tickets were over $1800 to be there in the Monday morning so I buy a $400 ticket the lands mid afternoon. Turn out my flight gets delayed. I dont get there in time 15 minutes till 8 PM. They call me and they tell me theyre selling the truck. And they refuse to pick me up from the ***********. My credit application was fill and I had a substantial amount of a down payment with me. They advise the truck has been sold. God Bless this dealership and whoever decides to purchase from here. This was a very stressful experience. And not once did I receive a dcall from anyone with any kind of compensation.Review from Christian W

The did not fix the car but still charged 1400 Had a knack sensor check engine light stated the sensors were non oem The did multiple other services and said they'd fix the issue Upon arrival I picked up and got 20 mins down the road just for the light to come on again (original issue was not fixed) brought the vehicle back 2 days later I was told to come pick up that it just needed to be driven to cycle out so I did so (issue still stands) reached out to other dealership(five star Ford north richland hills) they stated that if the sensors weren't oem then then would be the issue and that should have been the first thing prosper ford checked but they didn't! Reached out to Bryan Legard(prosper ford advisor) he stated that he's washed his hands of it(Not his problem) and that I should just go to the we other dealership I feel taken advantage of I'm in no spot to have paid that much for the issue to not be fixed. I would like a full refund and reimbursement of my time, stress, money and struggles prosper ford has brought upon my life for a simple 65 dollar sensor charge that should have been all it was
