I never imagined I'd be sharing this, but my experience with ****** and Tailored Projects, LLC was a nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone. What should've been a simple repair for water damage turned into an 18-month ordeal that drained us emotionally and financially.****** seemed trustworthy at first, but he lied from the start. He convinced us to demolish our entire downstairs, claiming it was necessary for insurance. It wasn't. He then submitted fake photos and inflated costs to our insurance company - $89,000 for demolition that should've cost $15,000-$18,000. His fraud led to our claim being denied, leaving us devastated.The deceit continued when ****** tried to bring in his own adjuster, pressuring me to sign over control of the project. I later learned this was not only unethical but illegal. This experience has made me wary of trusting professionals in my own home.The financial toll has been crushing. We've spent an additional $120,000 fixing ******'s damage. For 18 long months, we lived without a kitchen or family room, accumulating $80,000 in living expenses. I often think about how different things could've been if we'd filed directly with our insurance - they said it would've only required $4,000 in demolition and $8,000 total for rebuilding.Every corner of my now-repaired home reminds me of the stress we endured. I worry about other families falling victim to ******'s deceit. That's why I'm sharing my story - to urge others to avoid ****** and Tailored Projects, LLC at all costs. If I can prevent even one person from making the same mistake, reliving this painful experience will have been worth it.Don't let ****** into your home. His dishonesty and incompetence will cause more harm than good. I strongly believe the state of Texas should revoke his right to work. Please, learn from my mistake and stay far away from ****** and Tailored Projects, LLC.Business response

You and ypur wife were caught lying to the insurance company and committed fraud and ypur insurance denied you because of the flips in stories ypu guys were telling them. We tried to help you by getting you an attorney or PA to help. My own PA released himself from your claim because of all of the false information you kept giving.
The only reason you even gave us a bad review is because you were served with law suit papers for not paying us for the work you hired us for which was the mitigation work from the water damage. I have been super patient on waiting for payment from you but it's been over 1 years. I had no choice but to file law suit. You completely lied in this complain and is considered defamation and slander especially on a public forum like the BBB. I have over 300 photos of our work that show and prove all the work we completed at your house. We followed IICRC protocol on the entire project. Your complaint here on the BBB and ****** has now been filed with my attorney and we will be seeking damages as well as the money that is owed to us. This is the only response I will be giving due to the fact that this is an open case in the court. The court will decide who is at fault here and it isn't looking good for you. I wish you all the best in your endeavors, but this was not a good decision by you to not pay someone for the work they did for you.

The contractor received insurance money to replace our roof and repair a damaged deck. The contractor replaced the roof but never returned to fix the deck. I have made numerous attempts to either have them complete the repairs or refund the $9,000. this has been going on for 18 months. The contractor yells, threatens and accuses his customers of being a crock when he is the only that has stolen money from customers. I had a lawyer send a certified letter to the company. They refused to sing for the letter.
