I have been dealing with this insurance company for about seven months now they have not been answering phones when we call every time I try to call their company. It either says voicemail full. Im trying to figure out this whole situation with my car getting into a wreck with one of their insurers, I still have nothing yet. I dont cant get a car out because of this and Im just wanting this to be resolved.Initial Complaint

On 12/12/2023, there was a wreck involving one of their customers and my fiance. Their customer being at fault provided his insurance information and contact information. As of today 2/6/2024, we have tried contacting them numerous times. The results of these attempts: hung up on, sent to a voicemail with no response, emails without reply.My fiance's car has yet to be repaired. We have screenshots and email copies of our attempts to contact them. We had to reach out to our insurance company to get them to pull the claim number for Quantum Alliance.The treatment and disregard we have received is not only unprofessional, it is unacceptable and criminal.Initial Complaint

I paid for my 6 month car insurance policy early this year with another company. when it expired August,I found Quantum offering a great rate for my one vehicle . I purchased a policy with them . A few days later I wanted to add a vehicle we had just purchased . Quantum alone was charging way too much to add the vehicle. I was aware of the Agency fee amount and it was only $20. so I asked the agency to find me a new company that would accept the 2 cars . They did . We canceled quantum . I was expecting a pro rated refund since I had not had the insurance that long . After waiting over a month I called to find out why it was taking so long . They said I was not getting a refund because they were keeping the money for Installment fees. This is theft . They charge these fees to make sure you dont get any money back once you cancel. I paid a little ove $100 to start the policy . I didnt have the policy for long . And they kept all the money . I dont understand why they would charge installment fees if the customer is no longer with them .Initial Complaint

On July 16, 2023 their insured hit me at a stop sign. He admitted fault to police who were called to the scene and the police faulted him in the police report as well. I took photos of his insurance card and his ID (he was driving without a driver's license) as well as the damage to my brand new car. I immediately tried to file a claim with his insurance company after speaking to my own insurance company. I was hung up on several times by claims adjusters at Quantum Alliance as well as my calls avoided altogether. I finally called and asked for a supervisor and she assured me she would have an adjuster reach out to me to file a claim. The adjuster was evasive, hung up on me and never returned my calls. I sent her every single piece of documentation that she asked for including the police report. After a couple weeks of no response from her, I called and was told the phone number they had for the insured was not good and they could not move forward without speaking to him. I ended up taking matters into my own hands and going to the address on his insurance card to speak to him. I asked him to get in touch with the claims adjuster so they would pay for my car damages. He gave me his current phone number and told me he would contact her the next day (which he did). Then after all of that, the adjuster then claimed they needed proof he owned the car listed on his insurance card. The car that THEY INSURED and also the car that hit me. So after going round and round again with evasiveness and dodginess, I spoke to the insured again letting him know the adjuster NOW needed his bill of sale or title sent to her. He sent her a photo of his title and when I finally spoke to her again, she informed me it was only the front of the title and not the back. I reached out today (2 days shy of a month since he hit me) asking the status of my claim. I was told they will not pay even though he IS INSURED and he IS AT FAULT and the car on the policy IS THE *** THAT HIT ME.Initial Complaint

On june 5th ******************************* a flood due to natural disasters.we file a claim to my insurance company quantum alliance. The insurance company told us that they are not going to cover the expenses for the total of my car.keep in mind i added my brother *************************** to my policy the car i added was registered to his name and his address. This is the car they are not traying to cover the insurance company said i did not follow the rules because my brother does not live with me and that gives them the right to deny the claim.iam paying insurance money for the car in question and it has full coverage i dont get why they are not going to cover it if they are charging me for thatCustomer response

Also when i added the car ***** civic 2017 to my policy i spoke to an agent of the name " ****" i foward my brothers driver license to him my brothers drivers license had my brothers address on there therefor the agent **** knew that my brother had a different address and he still went through with the transaction and he did not abreasted me of the policy. Further more as of now june 22 2023 the insurance company is still attempting to retrieve the insurance money/ payment out of my bank accountInitial Complaint

What a ripoff , after I was hit by their client I had to rent my own vehicle and had it for ************************************************************** for 8 days, who can rent a car for $25 a day, so I paid over $1000 on rental fee and I only get $200 from them and the only answer that I get is sorry thats how we do business Dont ever get this insurance cheap and dont pay their bills to the shop that did my repairs.Initial Complaint

The insurance is refusing to pay for my rental, although they were informed earlier, prior to getting the rental.The amount they are reimbursing (just for 3 days where as it should have been for 10 days) is $25/day (there is no rental for $25/day in ******* **, estimate was submitted prior to renting), which amounts to $75, where as I paid $350.My claim no is: CTX ********. i am a business owner trying to get information on one of my vehicles that was involved in a car accident and was deemed a total loss. i have been calling and leaving voicemail to Mr. Joel Urbina for at the minimum 2 weeks now i call at the very least 10 times a day and have at times called up wards of 50 times a day. the only time Mr Joel urbina answers is when he picks up the phone to tell me to stop calling because its unprofessional to call so many times and to tell me that he and his supervisor have agreed to block my number. This to me is ridiculous i just simply want information i am owed as the lein holder to the vehicle. i just feel that they are doing this as a tactic to not pay out the insurance since it was a total loss they technically owe me upwards of 10k dollars to pay off the vehicle. i am contacting BBB to see if you can help since no one not one person at that shady company is able to do anything apparently . and i am not alone on this my client whom is the person on the policy has been calling non stop as well to no avail. This person was rude unprofessional and should not be in any position where he has to interact with people on any level.Initial Complaint

I got this insurance by the dealership after hours, 3 wks later 8/22/22 was involved in an accident in which they placed me at fault even though I was rear ended and they still haven't paid for repairs or other vehicles damages my adjuster was extremely rude to the point of blocking my calls and never got back to meBusiness response

this insurance company has many poor reviews and its concerning, and everyone has the same complains as mine and my car was hit while park at work and when I filed a claim to get my car damaged repaired, they always gave me the run around I've waited for 2 months going on 3 months and I was patient with all of the process of my claim to for getting my car damage repair, Irma E*** who was in charge of my claim she was no help she never was accurate about the status of my check it was always a back and forth thing saying all the time that the check was mailed when it wasn't, last call I made I spoke to her wanting to know about the status of my claim she said it was close which I didn't understand how and why? if I never received any check so she saw it was supposably was returned back to them and she told me that they will re-mail me a check later that same day which till this day nothing. so, at this point I'm tired of getting the run around and time keeps passing by I've been more than patient and I really need my car repaired. I'm not the only one who has the same situation as mine and multiple people if you take a look at their reviews, you will see what people experience have to say about this company, this insurance company I can't find its headquarters to file a complaint, so I'm turning to BBB to help and have this company look at because how they are running it isn't fair for society and how they are cheating people on not helping to pay for car accidents to an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly.Business response

Firstly, Quantum does not answer through the BBB. The BBB does not have a license or and knowledge to aid anyone involved in an accident. All complaints for insurance related issues should be directed to the Texas Department of Insurance. Their website has a section for your complaint, or you can call ************** In reviewing your concerns, it appears that your carrier State Farm notified Quantum that they were handling your damages and would subrogate against Quantum. According to State Farm your vehicle has been repaired. Therefore, I am not sure what else can be done for you since your damages were handled by your carrier. Quantum received a subrogation letter from State Farm in November and will answer directly to State Farm since they handled your loss. Quantum has over two million policy holders in Texas alone. That represents over 4 million insured vehicles on the road. The percentage of complaints is well below the state average of your carrier and those complaints are logged by the Texas Department of Insurance. We sincerely apologize for not handling your claim as you would have liked. Thank you Quantum Alliance
