      If you buy a pre-paid oil change service plan, they can raise that rate and charge you additional fees each visit, even though that was the selling point of the pre-paid plan. They dont honor written contracts. No where in our contract does it say that they can charge us if their prices go up.

      After a rotten experience at an affiliated dealership, I was persuaded to give a second chance at this dealership. FAIL!!! I brought in my 2018 Kia **** for transmission problems. I had no electrical problems at all, but asked this second shop to verify or disprove the first shop who claimed that I needed new headlights for $2700. This time, the lights were fine, but I was sold an unnecessary engine wiring harness.The two advisors both assured me that the transmission investigation absolutely required a new wiring harness due to "multiple crimps". One told me specifically that "the wiring harness will fix your transmission, everything." Of course I didn't need a new wiring harness. I was gouged for $3700, and then I was given different, shifting reasons for needing a new wiring harness.Two different people promised me help for my rental car expenses. One told me specifically that he would arrange a no-cost rental while my transmission was being replaced -- that didn't happen. Another promised to reimburse me for the extra week that it cost me when the first person could not let me know that the car was ready -- that didn't happen.A quote from management about the service staffs at this dealership as well as *******************: "They go to training, hear about wiring harness, and then think every car needs one for every problem."They kept my car for seven weeks in four months at two dealerships, gouged me for an unnecessary wiring harness replacement, and repeatedly lied to me. The first quote was for $5500, but a reputable shop simply replaced a fuse and used a screwdriver to adjust my headlights (no charge). The second problem was a transmission under warranty, which shouldn't have cost me anything. Shame, shame, shame.

      ***********************************,I am sorry that you feel this way. Not sure what happened or where this came from, however I do know that *** of Round Rock removed your entire harness and verified what you and I had originally discussed. Which is the fact that there is most likely a short somewhere in your wiring harness. Our conversation which you seem to have taken out of context was the fact that the manufacturer teaches it is safer to replace harness instead of repair. All of your damaged parts have been saved and are safe for review, there are issues with this harness that are either related to the accident you were involved in, or from whomever you had install your aftermarket remote start and camera as they spliced into your factory control harness for installation. In all honesty could be both. I am also greatly concerned that you were informed about this every step of the way and this is the second time you have waited to pick up your vehicle before speaking with me or another manager about your issues. I am sorry you feel this way I truly am, however after reviewing the parts that came from your vehicle, the technician story, and speaking with the shop ******* I have to agree that these repairs were justified and signed off on by you before being performed. Thank You,********************* Fixed Operations Manager

      Quote from service advisor ****: "The mechanic says that the wiring harness will fix your transmission problem."It wasn't until pick-up of the car, when new and different reasons for the harness replacement suddenly surfaced at the last minute including the new blame onto the dash cam and remote control which were installed by a commercial shop who do this for a living, that I realized you were collectively scrambling to justify the harness after the fact.
