I purchased a new vehicle in 2022 for my daughter and we recently traded in the vehicle at a different dealership, which resulted in the Hyundai being paid off. When we purchased the Hyundai in 2022, we also purchased extended warranties, including a warranty for $3000. I have been trying to reach someone at Hyundai for the last three weeks to discuss what steps need to be taken to receive the pro rata refund of the $3,000 warranty. I have left messages and sent an email and no one will respond to my question. When I refused to leave another voicemail, the receptionist at Car Town Hyundai actually told me that they have nothing to do with any refunds and that I need to contact the finance company. I contacted the finance company and was advised that they cannot issue a refund until the Dealership (Car Town Hyundai) has a signed paper from me and issues a check to the finance company for the refund. After learning this information I tried to reach a manager at Car Town Hyundai and, of course, I was sent to voicemail again. I left another message asking for a return call from anyone so that we can get our refund for the unused portion of the warranty. Two days later, I still have not received a call back. I live in a different state so I cannot go to the Dealership to talk to anyone personally, and I just really feel like they're trying to get out of issuing the refund.Business response
