On December 26, 2017 the BBB shopped Myers Drug to verify a special/sales ad. Ad stated that "All Christmas items were 40% off for their after Christmas sale". The BBB regularly shops businesses in our service area to verify advertising.

BBB recognizes that truthful price information helps consumers make informed purchasing decisions and that comparative price advertising plays an important role in promoting vigorous competition among
retailers. At the same time, misleading or unsubstantiated pricing claims injure both consumers and competitors.

On this date the sale item was available in sufficient quantity and at the advertised price. No advertising violations were found. On April 20, 2019 the BBB shopped Myer's Drug EGG-Mazing Customer Appreciation Day to verify event. The BBB regularly shops businesses in our service area to verify advertising.

The advertiser's offer was: "Stop in on the 18th of April for our Customer Appreciation Day, honoring our 'EGG-Mazing' customers! Come by and pick an egg for either a discount or a prize. Also, during the 18th and throughout that weekend, put your name in the drawing for our Easter basket giveaway that will be full of cute goodies! Winner of the Easter basket giveaway to be announced on April 22nd. See you there!"
